Jon Stewart continued his efforts to drag Michigan Democratic Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed across the finish line on Monday’s edition of The Daily Show on Comedy Central. Echoing a recurring theme on the show, Stewart tried to pass off concerns about El-Sayed and his radical associations as “Islamophobia.”

ABC, CBS, and NBC turned their lead Monday morning newscasts into hyper-active spin sessions for their liberal candidates of choice — particularly Michigan Democrat and “unabashed progressive” Abdul el-Sayed — and smear campaigns against President Trump for “intensifying his attacks” toward “a much darker turn” with “inflammatory and false attacks” on el-Sayed.

The Elitist Media constantly demonstrate their double standards as they seek to castigate Republicans while accommodating Democrats. The latest example, with the critical midterm election a little over a week away, comes via NBC’s coverage of the Michigan Senate race on Meet the Press. On this occasion, though, the double standards were held accountable.
