As they did last week along with the other networks, ABC led its Monday morning Good Morning America by hyping complaints from Democrats and liberals about the Trump Administration border policy. Correspondent Marcus Moore’s report even touted a celebrity’s curse-filled rant at the GOP without acknowledging the profanity.

ABC on Friday breathlessly reported on the “bombshell” Inspector General report, but the network skipped the revelation that an FBI agent vowed to “stop” Donald Trump’s 2016 victory. Over on NBC, Chuck Todd insisted that the real victim of all of this was Hillary Clinton. 

On Thursday, while reporting on the latest developments in the Russia investigation, neither ABC’s Good Morning America nor CBS This Morning made any mention of a new poll showing Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s favorability with the American people dropping to lowest level since the probe began over a year ago. NBC’s Today show did manage to note the survey, but only for a mere 17 seconds.

On Wednesday, correspondents on ABC’s Good Morning America and CBS This Morning breathed a collective sigh of relief as they reported that Democratic congressional candidates had not been shut out of key House races after Tuesday’s jungle primary in California, in which only the two top voter getters, regardless of party, advance to the general election in November.  

After airing a full report on Friday’s Good Morning America about the controversy swirling around left-wing Full Frontal host Samantha Bee over her vile attack on First Daughter Ivanka Trump, ABC anchor George Stephanopoulos and 10Ten Media’s Larry Hackett reacted to the story by blaming President Trump for creating an environment of incivility and wondering if Bee was already “out of the woods.”

On Thursday morning, CNN and MSNBC pounced on their latest opportunity to ignore police violence-related stories that do not fit the narrative that cops mostly target black suspects for shootings and excessive force. “Rising star in the Republican Party.” “Up and coming star in Republican politics.” Once again, the networks are hyping the fall of a GOP politician, making sure to highlight the party status of Missouri Governor Eric Greitens. This is a habit not usually followed when the offending politician is a Democrat.
