After getting dragged during the 2018 midterms for her schoolgirl-like fawning for “rock star” Democratic Senate candidate Robert O’Rourke, ABC’s Paula Faris was at it again during Thursday’s World News Tonight where she looked at O’Rourke with doe eyes and asked: “Can hope, change, and unity beat Trump?”

As if searching for a way to criticize the late 2017 tax cuts, the broadcasts networks aired a series of panicked reports about tax returns in February. Roughly 80 percent of Americans taxes were cut by the legislation, yet the broadcasts complaints fostered a misleading implication that taxes were not cut.

The journalists at CBS This Morning on Thursday joined the collective media gush over Beto O’Rourke’s announcement that he is running for president, falsely spinning the far-left Democrat as part of the “center.” Host John Dickerson fawned over the Democrat who is off to a  “glowing start.” Reporter Ed O'Keefe even showed pictures of a dental visit O’Rourke put on social media. 

Apparently getting arrested is the cool thing to do. Entertainment media continue to wage war on President Donald Trump and conservatives, with major networks, cable TV, and streaming services hurling insults and ignorant opinions at every opportunity. In February alone, at least 40 separate entertainment programs attacked conservative values and/or President Donald Trump while promoting a hardcore progressive agenda.  

CBS This Morning co-host Gayle King on Tuesday speculated on a “secret” Republican candidate who might oppose Donald Trump in a 2020 GOP primary. Talking to new CBS contributor Jeff Flake, King noted, “You made it clear you were not thinking about running against Donald Trump.” 

Appearing on the third hour of NBC’s Today show on Tuesday, former Tonight Show host Jay Leno lamented how “everyone has to know your politics” now if you’re a late-night comedian. He mentioned that he prided himself on not letting viewers know his political views and feared that many comedians have become too “one-sided” when it comes to politics.

CBS’s comedy, The Neighborhood, is known for trying to tackle the issue of racism from a leftist viewpoint. On Monday night, they decided to tackle the other famous -ism—sexism. CBS This Morning co-host John Dickerson on Monday worried that Joe Biden would be too moderate in tone as a presidential candidate, describing the Democrat as a “let us reason together” politician. This, of course, is the same Democrat who had an American Conservative Union score of 12 and who savaged conservative Supreme Court nominee Robert Bork in 1987.
