During a report on Wednesday’s CBS This Morning about White House reaction to the terrorist attack in Istanbul, correspondent Margaret Brennan lamented the violence was taking attention away from President Obama’s effort to push his left-wing agenda at an international summit: “...this is the third time in the past year that a major summit is being overshadowed by terrorism.”

The journalists at NBC’s Today show on Wednesday offered silence as Senate Democrats held up over $1 billion in Zika funding because of concern for Planned Parenthood. The program never mentioned the awkward development and it’s not as though there wasn’t time, given the show’s four hour length. On Tuesday, while all three network morning shows covered the newly-released House Benghazi Committee report, the broadcasts also dutifully parroted Democratic talking points attacking the credibility of the findings and concluded: “It does not appear to uncover conclusive evidence of wrongdoing by Hillary Clinton.”

All three networks on Tuesday hyped a possible Hillary Clinton/Elizabeth Warren presidential ticket, but the journalists on ABC’s Good Morning America were the most effusive. Former Democratic operative and Clinton Foundation donor George Stephanopoulos cheered, “Elizabeth Warren, certainly a  bold choice. An all woman ticket would be brand new.” 

CBS This Morning took a strange turn during its interview with Chaos Monkeys author Antonio Martinez. Martinez, who publically compared Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg to "Fidel Castro", led co-host Gayle King to ask Martinez "is that a compliment?"

Journalists on all three networks on Monday continued to howl with outrage over Britain’s decision to exit the European Union. Reporters on ABC, CBS and NBC attacked the “worst decision” that could lead to “economic disaster.” On the Today show, analyst Jim Cramer assailed, “In terms of the financial chaos and collapse, it’s just one of the worst moves I’ve seen.”

Sometime people can’t hold in a good laugh, but the hosts of CBS This Morning had a real difficult time holding in their giggling as they interviewed the star of the new show Braindead, Tony Shalhoub, who plays a Republican senator who has alien insects eating away at his brain, causing the lifelong politician to become a hardcore conservative. On Monday, all three network morning shows gushed over the left-wing activism on display during Sunday night’s BET Awards. In particular, the hosts and correspondents on NBC, ABC, and CBS were enthralled by Grey’s Anatomy actor Jesse Williams launching into a racially-charged screed against “this invention called whiteness [that] uses and abuses” African Americans.

The Pope is at it again, this time issuing an apology to the LGBT community over the Catholic Church’s messaging over the nature of homosexuality and other LGBT related issues. During the segment discussing the Pope’s statement on CBS This Morning, co-hosts Gayle King, Norah O’Donnell, and Charlie Rose fawned and praised the Pope’s bending to the liberal tradition of raising up Christian figures…

During an interview with the cast of CBS This Morning, Bernie Sanders got a fiery reaction from the cast as they pestered him for not dropping out and endorsing presumptive Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton. Co-host Charlie Rose began to show his frustration with Sanders, and as quickly as that started, fellow co-host Gayle King tagged in to take her turn of asking the same question to Sanders.

All three morning shows on Friday led with the “stunning” vote by Britain to exit the European Union, a move that is “rocking” the world. Yet, only ABC’s Good Morning America ignored the inconvenient fact that Barack Obama tried and failed to influence the vote this past spring. On CBS This Morning, Charlie Rose reminded, “President Obama visited in April and urged voters to stay in Europe.” 

During the 26 hours the Democrats in the U.S. House of Representatives conducted a “sit-in” in an unsuccessful attempt to force Republican leaders of the chamber to allow votes on oppressive gun control measures, one group received effusive praise from the officials for the coverage of the situation. On Thursday, the network morning shows were beside themselves with enthusiasm over Democrats taking to the House floor to demand gun control with an all-night sit-in. On NBC’s Today, correspondent Peter Alexander was particularly swept up in the excitement and declared the partisan political stunt to be “Truly one of the most dramatic demonstrations on the House floor in modern American history.”
