While appearing on CBS’s Late Show With Stephen Colbert on Tuesday to bemoan the “insane” and “depressing” state of the country under President Trump, journalist Katie Couric simultaneously went on all three broadcast networks to promote her new National Geographic documentary series and plead for “civil discourse.”

ABC’s Good Morning America on Tuesday slammed The Simpsons, fretting about the “racist,” “stereotypical” portrayal of the character Apu. The show joined the chorus of liberal outlets unhappy with how the veteran comedy dealt with complaints about the Indian American Apu. 

In a salacious promo for the network’s exclusive Sunday night interview with former FBI Director James Comey, during Wednesday’s Good Morning America, ABC featured clips of anchor George Stephanopoulos touting Comey’s comparison of President Trump to a “mob boss” and asking the fired Bureau chief if the President should be impeached.

A fuzzy animal, faulty directions and famous murderers all outranked the latest jobs report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
