Fox's show The Exorcist is much like its film predecessor in taking delight in how outrageously shocking it can go. Unfortunately, the exploits in an R-rated movie are apparently now suitable for a primetime television series. In this case, they spread out the story of a possessed girl over a full season with more conflicts from the priests and more gruesome demonic possession.

Not surprisingly, CNN’s post-Al Smith Dinner analysis did not take kindly to Donald Trump on Thursday night as the assembled crew didn’t object to the crowd booing Trump and applauded Hillary Clinton’s remarks as “self-deprecating,” “singeing,” and “traditional” since she’s so familiar with dinners like this along with the elitist Gridiron Club. 

If there’s one admirable thing about Kathy Griffin, it’s this: she doesn’t claim to be tolerant. Thus, when the lewd comedienne released two videos vulgarly attacking Donald Trump, it was simply consistent with her shtick.
