Conservative Ruins Halloween With One Line on 'American Housewife'

On the ABC comedy American Housewife, Katie Ott bemoans Raisinets by saying they’re like “health food in a perfectly good bag of candy.” In this episode, I consider their depiction of Republicans as the unwelcome Raisinet in my candy bag. The only difference is that I can’t take it out.

'The Real O’Neals:' Halloween Is 'Gay Super Bowl'

In “The Real Halloween” episode of ABC's The Real O'Neals, Kenny tries to celebrate his first “gay” Halloween by, of course, going to a raunchy gay party in Boystown. His mother Eileen denies him permission for obvious reasons but allows him to host a party at their house with any gay people he can find, thinking he won’t find any. From there, he invites gay students from another school to help…

NBC reporter and Hillary Clinton fan club president Andrea Mitchell showed off her infatuation with the Democratic presidential nominee Tuesday evening, as she wrote off the massive 25 percent ObamaCare premium hikes as part of a series of “nagging problems.” “A second problem, the rise in Obamacare premiums, an issue [Donald] Trump is exploiting,” Mitchell whined during her report on NBC Nightly…

ABC Ignores Revelation that Obama Knew About Clinton's Private Server

WikiLeaks, Tuesday, exposed a massive lie President Barack Obama told to the American people following the first reports of Hillary Clinton’s private e-mail server. In March of 2015 Obama told CBS News’ Bill Plante that he learned about the server, “The same time everybody else learned it through news reports.” According to the newly leaked e-mails, that is not true because he had received e-…

Bozell & Graham Column: Leaked, How Hillary Pandered to the Press

The Wikileaks email trove is revealing more than the servility of “objective” reporters trying to please Hillary Clinton and her aides. It’s also revealing their press strategy – how they seek to praise reporters, even as they arrogantly stonewall them. One internal campaign e-mail exchange is salient. It discusses Mrs. Clinton speaking at an a Syracuse University event  handing out the Robin…

As Hillary Has Black Turnout Woes, Black Trump Spox Baffles the Media

On Sunday, Hillary Campaign Manager Robby Mook dodged a question from Jake Tapper on CNN's State of the Union about indications that black turnout for the former Secretary of State in North Carolina during early voting has not been strong. Meanwhile, a black Trump supporter, who the press seems to believe can easily be turned into an object of ridicule, continues to run circles around them in…

Jeffrey Toobin: Clarence Thomas Is Both ‘Radical’ and ‘Reactionary’

When it comes to Supreme Court justices and their views of the Constitution, on the one hand there’s Clarence Thomas, and on the other there’s everyone else in the 227-year history of the Court, suggested CNN and New Yorker legal analyst Toobin in a Tuesday piece. Toobin called Thomas, who just marked a quarter-century as a SCOTUS justice, “not a conservative but, rather, a radical” who’s driven…

Dirty Tricks: Then and Now

Students of the Watergate era (or those old enough to have lived through it) will recall the "dirty tricks" played by Richard Nixon's henchmen, most notably Donald Segretti. Segretti, who was hired by Nixon's deputy assistant, Dwight Chapin, was tasked with smearing Democrats, including senator and 1972 presidential candidate, Edmund Muskie of Maine. Among several "tricks," Segretti composed a…
