In light of the #MeToo sexual harassment movement that swept the nation this past year, more politicians and media types are facing scrutiny they may never have faced or at least haven’t faced in years. Take former President Bill Clinton, for example, who was pressed on his treatment of Monica Lewinsky after their affair, on NBC’s Today show Monday.  

Progressives in the media have no respect for the traditions and structure of the branches of the government. As soon as one issues a decision based on anything but liberal ideology, the world is over.

Fast-talking Georgetown professor and New York Times’ contributor Michael Eric Dyson was the guest on ABC’s The View, June 4, where he proceeded to “educate” the panel and viewers about the differences between bigots and racists, and how Republicans were seemingly both.

During a very contentious interview with NBC’s Craig Melvin over the weekend and aired on Monday’s Today show, former President Bill Clinton lost it when the reporter actually pressed him on sexual harassment in light of the Me Too movement. The Democrat became testy and even accused Melvin of “omitting facts” about the Monica Lewinsky scandal.

New York Times "gender editor" Jessica Bennett assembled a group of female Times writers to analyze Samantha Bee's feckless stunt against Ivanka Trump. Culture critic-at-large Amanda Hess suggested Bee was calling out Ivanka's "pink-washing" her father's aims with vague feminism. Opinion writer Bari Weiss replied Bee's C-word "really backfired," and she ended up "looking like a bully."

Religious liberty advocates scored a victory on Monday as the Supreme Court, by a 7-2 decision, ruled that a Christian baker could not be compelled to bake a cake for a gay marriage. Has liberal Hollywood just completely run out of original material? Season four of Netflix’s Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, a ditzy, nonsensical comedy series, makes me think so. The first six episodes released on May 30 are randomly sprinkled with snide comments against President Trump and conservatives in general, and even beats the dead horse of white privilege.

FX’s new transgender drama series, Pose, boasts the largest LGBTQ cast ever assembled for a scripted TV show—but that’s not enough. The show also wants to tackle Trump-era politics…like literally every show on TV today. Pose follows a group of transgender/gay people and their community trying to find their way in 1987 New York City.

Showtime’s I’m Dying Up Here proves it’s not offering any new material by once again bashing Christianity. It’s only fitting, I suppose, since the show is based in the 1970's that its jokes feel that old. This week, the show attempts to give us tasteless and disparaging humor about one of the sacraments of Catholicism.

Showtime’s Billions continues its vendetta against Attorney General Jeff Sessions by characterizing its Jeff-Sessions parody character, Attorney General Waylon “Jock” Jeffcoat (Clancy Brown), as a man who “recognizes no legal or moral authority, no justice but his own” and deserves “assassination."
