USA Today reported Thursday on a "Stand Up for Heroes" benefit at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Patrick Ryan said the comedians kept "political jokes to a minimum," but Ryan only channeled the political jokes, and nothing nice that the comedians said about the military. If the media genuinely wants to turn around their reputation for reporting fake news, here’s an idea: Stop turning to disgraced news anchors, fired for reporting on fake sources, as your experts on “truth-telling!” But as per usual Wednesday night, CNN predictably brought on Dan Rather to give his words of wisdom on Tuesday night’s election results.

Appearing on NBC’s Late Night With Seth Meyers on Wednesday, which was aired early Thursday morning, failed Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton was treated to a champagne toast by the liberal comedian as the two of them celebrated Democratic Party election victories in state and local races across the country.  

In this day and age you don’t actually have to win anything to be considered a winner. People who self-identify as winners can get just as much praise without having to work too hard.
