NBC’s Meet the Press host Chuck Todd is on the defensive as more scrutiny has been placed on the media and his own network for their liberal bias. Tweeting Tuesday, Todd lashed out at conservative critics for calling out the media’s eagerness to see Trump fail. “You know this isn’t true,” he snarked in response to a Fox News tweet.

BuzzFeed is alarmed at a new liberal survey: “The presidency of Donald Trump has caused Democrats to experience a surge in confidence in the press at the same time that Republicans and Trump supporters are expressing more extreme, negative views of the media.” Isn't it quite possible that very polarized media coverage of Trump leads to very polarized opinions?

MSNBC journalists on Tuesday rushed to the defense of the Democrat in Alabama’s Senate race, spinning Doug Jones as “moderate” and “conservative.” This despite his support for abortion and some gun control policies.

During the 7 a.m. ET hour of Tuesday’s NBC Today, co-host Savannah Guthrie informed viewers of a “major win for the Trump administration in the U.S. Supreme Court” as a majority of the justices upheld the President’s travel ban. However, just one hour later, correspondent Kristen Welker appeared on the morning show and dismissed the news as only a “minor” victory for the White House.

Mocking Trump on SNL apparently has its perks. For Alec Baldwin, it was the perfect career choice, since now he is now promoted on not one, not two, but three media outlets: NBC, ABC, and NPR. The national unemployment rate is already at a low 4.1 percent rate, but some economists think it could go even lower in the next two years. However, many liberal news outlets ignored the forecast. CBS on Tuesday finally noticed a big win by the White House in the Supreme Court. Barely. The journalists on This Morning only allowed a scant 51 seconds to Donald Trump’s travel ban being allowed (for now) to go into effect. This is after the network ignored the 7-2 victory on Monday.

When did actors become the ultimate authority on the Constitution? CNN’s David Axelrod (who, lest we forget, was Obama’s political guru) interviewed actor Tom Hanks on The Axe Files on December 2, and pushed Hanks to pontificate on Donald Trump, the constitution, and fake news.  

Listening to liberal journalists denounce Roy Moore, Al Franken and John Conyers, you’d think the media had zero tolerance for politicians with a known history of sexual misconduct. But the plain truth is the media have been complicit in normalizing, even justifying, such behavior for decades – if it helped protect the cause of big government liberalism.
