CBS Edits Out Atlanta Mayor Saying Cops Blameless for Weekend Killing
July 7th, 2020 12:09 AM
Mr. Secoriya Williamson probably said it best when addressing the Fourth of July murder of his eight-year-old daughter, Secoriea Turner in Atlanta: “They say black lives matter. You killed your own.” His outrage at black-on-black crime was shared by Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms (D), who exclaimed: “You can't blame this on a police officer. You can't say that we -- this is about…
Cognitive Dissonance: Nets Cause Unease With Conflicting COVID Reports
May 14th, 2020 9:48 PM
What makes a crisis, such as the one we’re all living through, worse is when the public gets mixed and/or conflicting messages about what to expect. This causes confusion and anxiety. And that’s exactly what the broadcast networks of ABC, CBS, and NBC have been creating with the cognitive dissonance plaguing their evening news reports, which reach millions of people.
CBS, NBC Rail Against Red States for Reopening, Shelter Blue States
April 27th, 2020 9:30 PM
There's perhaps nothing more elitist than major national journalists whining about unemployed people getting their income back since they don’t need to worry about losing their jobs overnight. But the elitist anger of CBS Evening News and NBC Nightly News notably only found select targets Monday night: red states, while states ran by Democrats were largely sheltered from…

January 2nd, 2020 10:32 AM
On Monday's CBS Evening News, as the show ran a full report on the sad news that Georgia Democratic Congressman John Lewis has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in its late stages, the show made the embarrassing faux pas of including a photograph of former Maryland Democratic Congressman Elijah Cummings and mis-labeling it as Congressman Lewis.

The CDC employee had planned a conference where far-left Democrat Al Gore was to be the keynote speaker.
CBS, NBC Decry GA's Heartbeat Abortion Law, Fear ‘Conservative’ SCOTUS
May 7th, 2019 8:53 PM
Slapping defenders of unborn life with the “anti-abortion [rights]” label, the CBS Evening News and NBC Nightly News were aghast that a newly signed Georgia law banned abortions after a baby’s heartbeat was detected. Decrying how the law “shreds” Roe v. Wade, both news outlets were fearful of the “conservative” Supreme Court upholding such laws.
CBS Warns of ‘Controversial,’ ‘Restrictive’ Georgia Heartbeat Bill
May 7th, 2019 5:10 PM
CBS This Morning on Tuesday actually covered the heartbeat bill working its way through Georgia’s state house, deeming it a “controversial” and “restrictive” attempt at stopping abortion. This same network offered no coverage when New York state legalized late-term abortion (and certainly didn’t find the bill “controversial.”)

November 5th, 2018 10:30 PM
With roughly 24 hours until polls closed for the midterm elections, the liberal broadcast networks were out in force Monday evening as they pleaded with viewers to vote for Democratic candidates. From touting Democratic Missouri Senator Claire McCaskill as a moderate to blasting Georgia Secretary of State Brian Kemp for accusing Democrats of hacking to fantasizing about all the investigations of…

Several times since yesterday, CNN has presented viewers with dash cam video showing a police officer beating a black motorist because the motorist allegedly resisted arrest. So come Wednesday, NBC Nightly News aired a report where they sat down with a self-described white nationalist to hear him sing the praises of the President. In contrast, CBS Evening News held…

On Friday's CBS Evening News, and again on Saturday's CBS This Morning, correspondent Mark Strassmann filed a report highlighting a newly formed organization of liberal women in Georgia who are working to "turn the red state blue." He also forwarded their views without challenge as he recalled their complaints that President Donald Trump has been pursuing policies that are…
CBS Uses Teenage Refugees to Trash Trump for Temporary Travel Order
February 23rd, 2017 12:31 AM
To close out CBS Evening News Wednesday night, the network acted as though the White House’s rewrite of the President’s travel restrictions were to cut America off from the world. “What this refugee wants the president to know before he closes the door to America,” announced sit-in anchor Anthony Mason during the opening tease. CBS’s Mark Strassmann sat down with…

July 13th, 2016 10:45 PM
During Wednesday’s CBS Evening News the network chose to give a boost to Social Justice Warriors by ending the show with a poem to “white privilege.” “We end tonight with a poem, written and performed by an Atlanta teenager this past spring, but it's been getting new attention from millions after the violence that shook America last week,” stated CBS Anchor Scott…
CBS Mocks ‘Ignorant’ Noah’s Ark Attraction
July 8th, 2016 9:04 AM
CBS This Morning reporter Mark Strassmann on Thursday offered a sneering, condescending look at a new biblical theme park attraction in Kentucky. Speaking of the gigantic Noah’s Ark Experience, Strassmann dismissed, “Nothing like it built before. But critics wonder why it was even built at all.”
