CBS’s Gayle King and Major Garrett are really upset. On Wednesday’s This Morning, Garrett fumed about the “mute” GOP destroying “good governance” and “our history” during any possible presidential recount.

CBS This Morning journalist Major Garrett on Friday could not resist an arrogant tone as he recapped Thursday’s presidential town hall events. He mocked Donald Trump as “desperate” and returning “on bended knee” to get on NBC. 

All three networks opened their Friday morning broadcasts eagerly promoting the idea that President Trump becomes gravely ill from the coronavirus. Immediately after he announced his positive test overnight, CNN broke in with hours of ghoulish gossip, expecting the worst, and this morning the more subdued networks floated the same possibility

CBS This Morning on Monday jumped on Donald Trump’s executive action to provide economic relief in the wake of the pandemic, dismissing it as “annoying” and “just like static electricity.” Not even attempting to hide disdain, Major Garrett also chided the “complicated” and “unworkable aspects.” This is not what he had to say about Barack Obama’s DACA action back in 2014.

Before it became clear that Super Tuesday would be an overwhelming success for liberal media candidate and former Vice President Joe Biden, CBS News spent a few minutes talking up the coronavirus, wondering if it would it “infect” President Trump’s reelection chances. CBS also tried to tie the virus to Medicare for All. To borrow a Bidenism, this was not a joke.
