Trump Derangement Syndrome can really take a toll on people. Unfortunately, that was evident on Monday’s CNN Tonight as CNN political analysts and White House Briefing Room rabble-rousers Brian Karem and April Ryan hijacked a segment meant to discuss First Lady Melania Trump’s surgery to whine about the President’s tweeting habits and his refusal to hold press conferences.

Given how CNN views Donald Trump as a “grave and existential threat” to the survival of a free press, one would think that the network would aggressively challenge Stormy Daniels lawyer Michael Avenatti over his attempt to bully and threaten the conservative Daily Caller. Yet when Don Lemon talked to Avenatti on Monday, he only gently brought up the intimidating e-mail sent by the lawyer.

On Wednesday's CNN Tonight, anchor Don Lemon hosted a segment to discuss the fact that rapper Kanye West has received criticism for praising President Donald Trump. The CNN host even alluded to West's history of accusing President George W. Bush of not caring about black Americans to then suggest that now West may not "care about black people."

Upon perusing CNN late Friday morning, the chest-thumping, sanctimonious news channel aired a new ad in its parody-laden yet irksome “Facts First” campaign featuring a mound of bananas while claiming there was a single, out-of-view apple. The ad served as CNN’s latest (and failed) attempt to convince viewers that it’s pro-truth when it’s actually anti-Trump and pro-Resistance.
