Appearing on PBS reporter roundtable on Washington Week Friday, MSNBC host Andrea Mitchell complained that Republicans have “controlled the narrative” when it comes to the Mueller report. She also acted like she was a Democratic strategist for a second by urging the Democrats to focus on health care instead of obsessing about Mueller and Russia.

Former porn star lawyer Michael Avenatti is back in the headlines after being indicted Thursday on 36 charges ranging from fraud to tax dodging. Incidentally, this is the same Michael Avenatti whom broadcast and cable news networks have hosted a whopping 254 times over the past year, according to the MRC's latest count of the spotlight-loving attorney's televised escapades.

WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange has been arrested after being kicked out of the Ecuadorian Embassy in London...finally. For media who have spent the fast few years focused on the narrative, Assange was seen as the face that symbolized the threat posed to the United States by Russia, second only to Vladimir Putin. However, it wasn't always that way.

During an interview with Washington State Governor and 2020 Democratic presidential candidate Jay Inslee on Tuesday, MSNBC anchor Andrea Mitchell thanked him for focusing his campaign entirely on climate change. In return, Inslee praised NBC weatherman Al Roker for traveling to Alaska and producing a series of alarmist reports about the issue.

Over the years NBC News chief foreign affairs correspondent Andrea Mitchell has become known for her die-hard loyalty to the Clinton’s. But during Monday’s edition of NBC Nightly News, she showed a similar defensive attitude for former Vice President Joe Biden, who was facing accusations of inappropriate touching from at least two women.

The networks on Monday framed Joe Biden’s response to charges of unwanted touching by women as “fighting back” now that “standards have changed” on what used to be considered his “harmless behavior.”  ABC, CBS and NBC all covered the accusations from Lucy Flores, but only CBS This Morning led with the story. 

As the Brexit process descended into yet more chaos, Friday, Andrea Mitchell had an idea as to who should share some of the blame: Donald Trump. Talking with NBC and BBC reporters as another vote in Parliament failed, the MSNBC host complained, “Donald Trump has actually played a very disruptive role in this.” 

In a softball interview with failed Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams on Wednesday, MSNBC anchor Andrea Mitchell laughably fretted that the potential 2020 presidential contender wasn’t a “darling of the media” like Beto O’Rourke and the other Democratic “white men” who had already announced.

On Tuesday, NBC’s Today show eagerly promoted a new biography of Barbara Bush in which the late First Lady “blames Trump for her heart attack.” In addition to seizing on that absurd notion, the morning show went on to ghoulishly tout how Bush kept “a Trump countdown clock marking the days remaining in his term...at her bedside until the day she died.”

President Trump stood firm with Israel again on Thursday when he announced on Twitter that the United States was going to recognize their sovereignty over the Golan Heights. That didn’t sit well with the liberal American broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, NBC), who decried the historic move as just a political stunt on their evening newscasts.

During an interview with 2020 Democratic presidential candidate John Delaney on her Monday show, MSNBC anchor Andrea Mitchell wondered how the former Maryland Congressman could possibly compete with Beto O’Rourke, whom she promised the media would follow “like a magnet” throughout the campaign.

As Democratic Senator Dick Durbin appeared as a guest on MSNBC's Andrea Mitchell Reports Thursday, host Andrea Mitchell displayed the latest example of a liberal journalist slamming the Donald Trump administration for doing something the Barack Obama administration also did as she called it a "shameful policy" for Border Patrol to keep children in "cages," echoing her liberal guest's complaints.
