PBS journalists are gearing up for Round Two of President Donald Trump, performing public relations on Thursday evening’s PBS News Hour on behalf of a left-wing documentary (“Separated”) to guilt the incoming administration in holding off its campaign promise to deport illegal immigrants by reminding everyone of the so-called “family separation” policy.

The nation, reeling from an ongoing border catastrophe and migrant crime crisis, ignored the media’s activist caterwauling and chose enforcement this past election. The Regime Media have a long, sordid history of looking the other way at stories that fail to advance their narratives or otherwise make Democrats in power look bad. But some stories are so bad that they break through anyway. Case in point: the toddler recently found at the southern border along with a bunch of other unaccompanied minors. 

Incoming Border Czar Tom Homan made a visit to the Texas part of the U.S. southern border. Under normal circumstances, this would warrant across-the-board coverage from the “mainstream media”, given how much of a departure Homan's visit is from border enforcement. But the CBS Evening News found zero time for the new Border Czar.
