CNN presidential historian Douglas Brinkley has been unhinged in offering deranged meltdowns before, but this one during Friday’s At This Hour was perhaps his worst. Whining about the lack of “climate activism” from the Trump administration, Brinkley bemoaned President Trump’s “embarrassing” G-20 trip leading to “a shrinking of American prestige.”

Poland’s President on Thursday dismissed as “fake news” media claims that his wife snubbed Donald Trump’s attempt at a handshake. Regarding hyperbolic stories in Newsweek, USA Today and by The Washington Post, President Andrzej Duda tweeted, “Contrary to some surprising reports my wife did shake hands with Mrs. and Mr. Trump @POTUS after a great visit. Let's FIGHT FAKE NEWS.” 

While the panelists on Thursday’s Hardball were pondering the icy relationship between President Donald Trump and German Chancellor Angela Merkel, frequent guest and Washington Post columnist Ruth Marcus suggested that it’s because Trump is.....sexist!

After sarcastically remarking that it was “refreshing” to hear to President Trump defend freedom of speech in his address to the people of Poland on Thursday, MSNBC anchor Andrea Mitchell lamented that “only a few hours earlier at a joint press conference, his first on the world stage, with Poland’s president, Mr. Trump returned to form, slamming the media.”

In the latest example of fake news, journalists on Thursday hyperventilated about a supposed dramatic snub of Donald Trump by Poland’s first lady. Agata Kornhauser-Duda, it seemed, refused to shake the hand of the President. Except, that’s not what happened. Mere seconds after shaking Melania Trump’s hands, Kornhauser-Duda and the President shared a warm embrace. 

On the heels of his June 28 monologues annihilating CNN over how embarrassingly biased they’ve become in the Trump era, conservative talk radio host Rush Limbaugh again unloaded Thursday afternoon on CNN for devolving into “a circular firing squad” led by “Little Jim Acosta....making a fool of himself.”

Major Garrett is unhappy with Donald Trump. The CBS This Morning correspondent inserted a petulant commentary to his report on the President’s visit to Poland. Regarding an international press conference, Garrett complained, “In a nation where press freedoms are in flux, the President eagerly criticized the U.S. media and former President Obama.” 

Reporting live from the site of the upcoming G20 summit in Hamburg, Germany on Wednesday’s NBC Today, correspondent Keir Simmons promised that “President Trump faces a tough trip here with some uncomfortable conversations.” The reporter hyped how Trump “does not see eye-to-eye with the German chancellor” and that “all eyes will be on that meeting with President Putin.”  

NBC News demonstrated again this morning that it's wildly anti-Trump. Check out this headline: "To Welcome Trump, Poland Taps Old Communist Party Playbook." So not only does NBC and MSNBC compare Trump to communist (and fascist) dictators, now foreign leaders who might make him look good are like communists.

Tuesday's All Things Considered on NPR touted how many Muslims in the United Kingdom are blaming British media outlets for the Monday incident where a Welsh man drove his van into a crowd outside a mosque in London. In their view, "the way the media covers Muslims has fueled hatred of their community," as host Kelly McEvers put it.
