On Wednesday night, President Biden was granted the second town hall of his presidency (and third in the last year) by his adoring fanboys and girls at CNN and, not surprisingly, the Jeffrey Zucker-led network made sure that the 80-minute event was little more than a foot-massage (or smelling of the hair since that suits his fancy).

Liberals boasted that the election of Joe Biden meant a return to sober, restrained presidential rhetoric and an end to unhinged mean tweets. Biden wouldn’t be a divider, he’d be a uniter to get things done. That’s nothing like current reality. But when Biden uncorks crazy hot talk, the media are supportive repeaters.

On The Late Show on CBS early Wednesday, Stephen Colbert was pushing the lie again that Republican voting-integrity laws were some kind of Jim Crow scheme. In a very supportive interview with Del. Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-D.C.), Colbert said the new laws "will effectively disenfranchise people, especially people in minority areas or minority districts."
