In a January 8 New York Times column, novelist and self-proclaimed dog lover Jennifer Weiner (rhymes with "diner") showed that she has problems with the Trump family not owning a dog. In the process, she lied like one about Trump's attitude towards the family pets of Vice President Mike Pence, and repeated the lie on Saturday when she appeared on Michael Smerconish's CNN show.

During their appearance on ABC’s This Week with George Stephanopoulos on Sunday, Mary Bruce and Cecilia Vega, the network’s Congressional and White House correspondents respectively, built narratives using Democratic talking points designed to place the blame for a failed immigration deal and possible government shutdown solely on the Republicans.

Appearing on NBC’s Late Night With Seth Meyers on Wednesday, aired early Thursday morning, MSNBC host Lawrence O’Donnell described how much “easier” it was to find material for his left-wing show under the Trump administration compared to the supposed challenge of finding anything newsworthy during Barack Obama’s presidency.

Google’s new fact-checker is just as bias as you would expect. On Tuesday, The Daily Caller reported that the feature, for the most part, only targets conservative sites. For example, both The Daily Caller and Daily Wire are fact checked (and mostly incorrectly as the two sites point out), but Vox, HuffPost, ThinkProgress, Slate, Salon, Mother Jones, and Daily Kos are not.
