May 30th, 2020 9:00 AM

The New York Times lead National “news” story on Friday was a full-page opinionated attack on conservatives by NewsBusters regular Jeremy Peters, who once again used the coronavirus pandemic as a cudgel: “‘The Crisis of 2020,’ Predicted in 1991: What’s Next?” Peters first marveled at how the 1991 book “Generations” by William Strauss and Neil Howe, “which introduced a provocative theory that…

Politico: 'Cuomo’s Coronavirus Halo Begins to Fade'

May 30th, 2020 8:58 AM

Could the love affair that the mainstream media has been having for New York governor Andrew Cuomo finally be diminishing? One sign of that could be a new skepticism creeping into the stories about how Cuomo has handled the coronavirus crises with his disastrous decision to send COVID-19 patients into nursing homes. An example of how the bloom might be off the rose for Cuomo could be seen in…

May 29th, 2020 10:45 PM
Harvard went looking for a liberal corporate Bigfoot to give their 2020 virtual commencement address, and they landed Marty Baron, executive editor of The Washington Post. The man whose paper oozes arrogance at the top of every newspaper with the motto “Democracy Dies in Darkness,” Baron came to amend the slogan. Now, in the age of coronavirus, people die in darkness, not just their political…

During two special reports, ABC and NBC collectively decried the Trump administration’s actions on China pertaining to the Wuhan…

May 29th, 2020 4:04 PM
Due to taping Friday’s show earlier in the week, the hosts of The View today didn’t get to talk about the violence in Minneapolis and all over the country, on today’s show. Instead, they spent most of the show talking with California’s Democrat Governor Gavin Newsom, where he only faced two critical questions about how he is handling his state’s COVID-19 response. He was however, invited to bash…

CNN: More Men Die of Virus, But Just Focusing on 'Data' Is 'Dangerous'

May 29th, 2020 1:42 PM
A CNN International story posted on the outlet’s website May 24 proved that the channel won’t let a deadly pandemic get in the way of pushing a left-wing feminist agenda, even if it must distort reality to do so: “Coronavirus is killing more men. But the lockdown is disastrous for women and their rights.” Never mind reports showing men were 50% more likely to die of Covid-19, since “experts say…

Column: Showboating with 100,000 Dead

May 29th, 2020 5:58 AM
On May 27, the American death toll from coronavirus sunk into the six figures: 100,000 lives lost. That’s a very sad number, made sadder when we ponder that the virus prevents loved ones from saying goodbye in person, and makes any funeral an extremely small event. So the nation's largest national newspaper made dramatic front pages, implying the losses were at least in part Trump's fault.

CBS Claims Trump’s Twitter Feud Just a Distraction from Virus Deaths

May 28th, 2020 9:06 PM

Yet, White House correspondent Ben Tracy couldn’t even bring himself to say that it was conservatives who were accusing Twitter of…

McEnany Makes Fake News Jim Look Like a Fool on Lefty Media Screw-Ups

May 28th, 2020 4:21 PM
As Caleb Hull astutely observed on Twitter, “reporters have to hate their lives when they’re asking their questions and” White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany “starts opening her notes.” On Thursday, McEnany repeatedly turned to that thick binder to school the liberal media. Moments after calling out the tech industry’s censorship of conservatives (and citing MRC TechWatch’s Corinne Weaver…
