You know politics have gotten weird when a liberal New York Times columnist begs Democrat voters to abandon Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) in favor of nominating Michael Bloomberg to lead the Democratic ticket. Times columnist Thomas L. Friedman wrote a wacky February 11, op-ed headlined “Paging Michael Bloomberg.”

An unlikely source threw cold water on the Democratic effort (backed by the liberal media) to label all non-Bernie Sanders candidates as “moderates” or centrists. Former adviser to Barack Obama Valerie Jarrett appeared on CBS This Morning, Thursday and responded to these talking points from co-host Tony Dokoupil. According to Jarrett, there's barely any difference” between the Democrats. 

On Thursday, the propaganda wing of the Democratic Party, also known as MSNBC, freaked out over a recent hit piece in The Atlantic that warned of President Trump’s reelection campaign launching a “Death Star” of “propaganda, misinformation, lies, conspiracy theories” on social media. Anchor Stephanie Ruhle desperately asked: “Is there anything that can be done to stop it?”

Amid all the pro-abortion hatred one finds from Hollywood on Twitter, sitcom star Patricia Heaton is a welcome breath of fresh air. The former co-star of Everybody Loves Raymond and current star of Carol’s Second Act on CBS is a long-time pro-life activist and she blasted Democrats for their “barbaric” pro-abortion platform on Wednesday.

In a Washington Post column promoted heavily on today's Morning Joe, Joe Scarborough has penned what amounts to a political eulogy for Joe Biden. It's headlined "No matter how it ends, I'm proud of Joe Biden." He ostentatiously placed himself at the "top of the list" of people proud of Biden.

Sometimes when you watch MSNBC, you just see indiscriminate adulation of Democrats. Cameron Cawthorne of the Washington Free Beacon highlighted a scene where Elizabeth Warren was still posing for cellphone photos with supporters despite her dismal fourth-place finish. This somehow made her extraordinary, instead of just ordinary. Rachel Maddow gushed "This is awesome! I love this!"

In case you haven’t gotten the memo, the keyword is “moderate.” In a single hour, MSNBC anchor Andrea Mitchell and one of her guests referred to the non-Bernie Sanders 2020 candidates as “moderate” four times. This despite the fact that Pete Buttigieg, Amy Klobuchar, Mike Bloomberg and others are quite liberal. 

As the results of the Democratic New Hampshire primary rolled in Tuesday night and Wednesday morning, NBC claimed that the supposed “moderate lane” of the liberal field was getting “a little wider,” while wondering how voters could “coalesce” around alleged “centrist” candidates and prevent socialist Senator Bernie Sanders from getting the Democratic nomination.

A wealthy billionaire tech CEO has endorsed the economically irresponsible concept of a universal basic income. The liberal director of The Washington Post-touting film The Post (2017) Steven Spielberg has not kept silent about his disdain for President Donald Trump, and neither has his wallet. Liberal filmmaker Steven Spielberg and his wife Kate Capshaw have contributed $3,500,000 collectively to liberal outside spending groups so far this cycle. 

The thrill is gone. Liberal MSNBC host Chris Matthews isn't happy with Bernie Sanders. This is quite a contrast to the Matthews of exactly 12 years ago tonight. On February 12, 2008, the liberal journalist swooned for Barack Obama, telling the country that the charismatic Democrat sent a “thrill” up his leg: 

On Sunday, The Washington Post editorial page led with a dramatic and rarely uttered fact check. The headline was “There are no ‘centrists’ – the Democratic primary race is not a choice between change and the status quo.” The Post insisted “every major Democratic candidate is running on an agenda to the left of Mr. Obama’s.” NPR also arrived at this candid and accurate assessment.
