In a Sunday morning newscast that could easily be described as grotesque, ABC’s Good Morning America stoked conspiracy theories about President Trump’s health following his hospitalization for COVID-19. On top of that, they hyped radicals who were touting the diagnosis and an anchor complained about the President having access to the “best medical care possible” to protect his life.

Univision anchor Jorge Ramos tried to shame a pro-life activist for not falling in line with the liberal line that all Hispanics should vote based on racial grievance. He was stopped cold, and then had to scramble and pitch some Biden talking points in a manner that makes his positions on abortion less extreme to Univision viewers. In other words: disinformation.

How vile are the Never Trumpers? Take Rick Tyler, former campaign aide to Ted Cruz, turned such a nasty Never Trumper that it earned him a "political analyst" gig with MSNBC. NBC on Tuesday excoriated “bully” Donald Trump for interrupting and turning the first presidential debate into a “train wreck.” Next week is the vice presidential debate featuring Mike Pence and Democratic Senator Kamala Harris. Four years ago, on October 4, 2016, journalists were much more gentle on then-vice presidential nominee Tim Kaine. 

After briefly mentioning that Joe Biden will be taking another "lid" day, the Politico Playbook PM disappeared the presidential candidate down the memory hole.

On Thursday's Amanpour & Co. on PBS and CNN International, as she spoke with veteran liberal activist Gloria Steinem, host Christiane Amanpour fretted that the confirmation of U.S. Supreme Court nominee Judge Amy Coney Barrett would mean a "setback on women's rights" and hinted that her Catholic faith is an indication she might undermine such rights.

Amidst CNN’s firehouse of poison Friday night as President Trump was set to and then took Marine One to be hospitalized at Walter Reed for the coronavirus, they were able to make it all about themselves, being facetious about the use of masks, suggesting we shouldn’t believe a word from the White House, and eagerly talking about their beloved 25th Amendment being invoked.

Apparently shocked and saddened by Thursday night’s breaking news that President Trump tested positive for COVID-19, leftist media hosts began seeking some sort of silver lining in which to take comfort.

Refusing to let go of campaign politics even for a day, on Friday, CBS This Morning seized on President Trump’s COVID-19 diagnosis as the “October surprise” of the 2020 campaign. The broadcast also decided that it was important, just hours after the troubling news broke, to remind viewers of polling showing the pandemic was a supposed political advantage for Joe Biden.

On Thursday's Morning Joe, MSNBC host Joe Scarborough dressed up his usual Republican-shaming routine with a truly antiquated reference to the old children's-TV series Romper Room, which pre-dated Sesame Street.
