The unhinged media is still politicizing the spread of COVID-19, and pointing fingers at President Trump after he addressed the nation last night. The hosts of The View unanimously panned the speech for lacking emotion and being "xenophobic" while claiming that “Trump’s party” doesn’t care about Americans. Even right-leaning host Meghan McCain and liberal Joy Behar agreed that this was going to be the “silver bullet” that took down the Trump presidency.
One of the lead debate moderators for CNN’s Sunday night debate is Univision anchor Jorge Ramos – a journalist so opposed to Donald Trump he was actually thrown out of a 2015 campaign event for being so rude. Since then, Ramos and his network Univision have railed against Trump on immigration and fueled the rise of the most left-wing candidate in the race – the openly socialist Senator Bernie Sanders.
When former Vice President Joe Biden visited Detroit on Tuesday, he got more than he expected when a construction worker asked whether he would let gun owners keep their firearms or use the government to remove them instead. The employee who posed that question was a guest on Wednesday morning's edition of Fox & Friends, when he said he was surprised that the Democratic frontrunner responded with a great deal of hostility and vulgarity to his question.
With hours like Wednesday night from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Eastern, MSNBC’s Joy Reid will have the hour long held by Chris Matthews sealed up. Engaging in irresponsible behavior, lying to viewers, and a parade of guests serving as clapping seals, Reid did nothing to responsibly inform the public about the coronavirus and instead fear-monger thanks to her hatred for President Trump and Fox News.
Shortly after The View co-host Whoopi Goldberg insisted that the media wasn’t politicizing the coronavirus on Wednesday’s show, her co-host, Joy Behar did just that, predicting that the virus would keep Trump from getting re-elected. Former conservative co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck was also at the table and she started arguing with liberal hosts Joy Behar and Sunny Hostin pretty quickly over Trump’s handling of the coronavirus.
Joe Biden’s rise from the ash heap to Democratic frontrunner, while remarkable unto itself, is also remarkable for the manner in which it exposed the nation’s domestic Spanish-language media’s agenda-driven journalism. The networks built a narrative which centered around making Bernie Sanders a “Latino” candidate with which to flex power and influence.
Though he’s one of the gentlemen who helped “Pink Floyd” build The Wall, Bob Geldof sure doesn’t admire any of President Trump’s policies.
What a difference a political party makes. In 2019, ABC political analyst Matthew Dowd linked Donald Trump’s “rhetoric” and tone to a shooting at a synagogue. Yet, on Tuesday, he cheered an unhinged Joe Biden moment in which the Democrat berated and threatened a “horse’s ass,” “full of shit” voter.
The liberal billionaire Godfather of the left is definitely not sitting on the sidelines this electoral cycle. The left’s “flagship 2020 super PAC,” Priorities USA, is going to be providing cover via ads for the presumptive Democratic nominee for president Joe Biden. Politico reported March 9 that the PAC is “arguing that as the party’s likely nominee for president, Biden needs to be defended from attacks being waged by President Donald Trump and his allies.”
As Joe Biden swept several more Democratic primaries Tuesday night, CNN anchor Jake Tapper warned of “getting real 2004 vibes,” referring to the failed presidential campaign of John Kerry. Tapper particularly lamented how Democratic voters were behaving like “a bunch of Rachel Maddows and Chris Hayess” by trying to decide on the most electable nominee.
Joe Scarborough proved once again this morning that there is virtually nothing that the liberal media can't spin into a positive for one of its own. On today's Morning Joe, Scarborough claimed that Joe Biden telling a construction worker that he was "full of s---" on gun control was proof of Biden's humanity, and that he was a "fighter."
MSNBC juggled two priorities during its Super Tuesday 2 coverage with the first being continuing to boost and rehabilitate the image of Joe Biden as he stands to be the 2020 Democratic nominee. But the other and, for the focus of purposes here, was continuing to paint the Trump administration’s response to coronavirus as disastrous and rendering Trump the 21st century incarnation of Jimmy Carter and an “underground railroad” for real information about the virus.
