Facebook’s internal racial justice chat indicates that the company prioritized politics in its decision making.

The U.S. Senate hearing on SnapChat, TikTok, and YouTube today made one thing very clear: TikTok does not appear to want to give straight answers about its connection to China. But U.S. Senators took the Big Tech platform to the mat.

It’s Facebook’s worst nightmare as the platform’s internal debates over purging conservative outlets and the sinister tools to censor them were exposed in a recent Wall Street Journal report.

On Friday, a federal judge ruled that Texas can seek files on content moderation from Facebook and Twitter. According to Bloomberg, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton (R) can seek limited discovery from the Big Tech giants regarding their content moderation.

An internal study published by Twitter on its algorithms indicated that the platform actually amplifies right-of-center voices over left-leaning ones.

Former President Donald Trump announced on Wednesday that his new social media platform will be coming soon, The Daily Wire reported. TRUTH Social will be released next spring under the Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG). The platform will compete with Facebook and Twitter, like Parler and GETTR.
