It was a banner week for bias, with a lot of shameless behavior. Media liberals were outraged at CNN's Trump town hall (including CNN liberals), with the constantly interrupting questions and the MAGA-pleasing answers. We predicted Kaitlan Collins could come in with her hair on fire, and we were right. She didn’t shriek, she tried to remain calm. But on many questions, the former president was not really allowed to finish a sentence.
During his last tour of Fox News, Trump was allowed eight-minute answers. CNN didn't want to give him more than eight words.
Meanwhile, House Oversight Committee chairman James Comer's press conference on the latest Biden family finance scandals was overwhelmingly ignored by Democrat-enabling journalists. It was a little shocking that it was ignored by ABC, CBS, NBC, PBS, and NPR. PBS did a long interview with House Democrat leader Hakeem Jeffries, with no Biden-scandal questions. This year, NPR has interviewed Broadway star Jodie Comer, but not James Comer.
But this even happened in some "news" papers. Check it out:
USA Today
“Santos arrested, pleads not guilty” top of page 1 (photo) No Biden story
Page 3A: “Lawmaker expelled for sexual misconduct” (Republican state Rep)
Page 6A: Trump accuser on verdict: ‘We are not the liars. He is’
Washington Post
Page 1: “Santos arraigned on fraud charges “ (photo), NO Comer/Biden story
The Wall Street Journal
“Santos Charged with Felony Counts,” Page 1, no photo
“Republicans Press Biden Family Probes,” Page 7. Pull quote: “One memo released Wednesday doesn’t show any payments to President Biden.”
The New York Times
Front page, top right: SANTOS IS INDICTED AS INQUIRY CLAIMS 3 FINANCE SCHEMES” (photo)
Page A-18: ‘4-Month G.O.P. Inquiry Finds No Evidence of Wrongdoing by President”
They ALL put George Santos on the front page. An obscure and surely one-term congressman from Long Island. But he’s a Republican, and they want to smear him across the entire GOP. Their so-called "news judgment" is which party is embarrassed?
