You’ll Miss Me When I’m Gone

Now that Rosie O’Donnell has announced she’s leaving "The View," her left-wing rhetoric seems to have gotten even more extreme. This week, the liberal comedienne smeared U.S. troops by saying they only join the military because they’re mostly uneducated and poor. (This isn’t true, but why bring facts into the debate?)

Meredith Vieira in: The I Word

While discussing the troop surge plan with Democrat John Murtha, "Today" host Meredith Vieira revealed where her mind is. She asked, "Is impeachment really off the table?"

What Was He Doing Before?

This week, "Good Morning America’s" weatherman (and liberal environmentalist) Sam Champion touted the left-wing advocacy of actor Robert Redford. Oddly, he tried to persuade GMA viewers that Redford’s positions were somehow new. According to Champion, "Now, he’s a pioneer for the environment." An ABC graphic exclaimed, "Redford Goes Green: Hollywood Legend Saves the Planet." Now, he’s a pioneer? Redford goes green?

Oops

Speaking of "Good Morning America," the ABC program used the fourth anniversary of President Bush’s "mission accomplished" speech to retroactively smear the event as "naive" and an example of "Bushian bravado." However, a look back to May of ‘03 finds that GMA assigned an A grade to the speech.

The Blessed Leader Returns

Finally, on the "CBS Evening News," correspondent Laura Logan filed a report on Cuban leader Fidel Castro. According to Ms. Logan, residents of that country are "hoping" for his return and "enraged" by U.S. "hypocrisy."
