Networks Ignore Topless Trans Activist at Biden White House Event

June 13th, 2023 8:17 PM

Over the weekend, the Biden White House held an event on the south lawn for "pride month" in which a transgender TikTok influencer went completely topless. It wasn't until Monday that video of the incident began circulating online and sparked outrage at the lack of decorum at the White House. The outrageous moment was even too much for the Biden administration, with Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre condemning the activist for stripping on White House grounds and informing them that they will not be allowed back. Despite this, the big three evening news broadcasts continued ignoring the incident in order to minimize the embarrassment for the Biden administration.

Instead, ABC's World News Tonight, CBS Evening News, and NBC Nightly News decided to distract viewers with local weather reports (ABC), the retirement of Pat Sajak (CBS), and a Georgia peach shortage due to "climate change" (NBC).

Fox News Channel White House correspondent Jacqui Heinrich who questioned Jean-Pierre about the incident appeared on Special Report to inform viewers that she informed the transgender TikTok activists that their behavior was unacceptable and that they were unwelcome at future events.

"The White House is making clear trans activists who exposed their chests on the south lawn at last weekend's it pride event," Heinrich prefaced. "Will not be invited to future events."

Heinrich aired Jean Pierre's response from the White House podium:

That type of behavior, as I said unacceptable. It's not appropriate. It's disrespectful. And let's not—it really does not reflect the event that we hosted to celebrate the LGBTQ+ families.

"The event also drew criticism for displaying the pride flag on the Truman balcony in violation of the U.S. Flag code which says the United States flag must appear at the center and highest point when displayed with other flags," Heinrich added.

Like any fair and balanced journalist, Heinrich gave voice to the other side of the argument: "Some have pointed to the U.S. Flag atop the White House roof as a workaround to the balcony display. And another section of U.S. flag code says that the President can make changes when he deems necessary, albeit through a proclamation which was not issued."

"Officials here would not say how this decision was made but defended it saying they’re not going to let anything distract from this event, which was centered around love and family," she added.

Regardless of who you are or what your sexual orientation is, it is thoroughly inappropriate to take off your clothes on White House property. It seems everyone from all sides of the political spectrum is in agreement except for the big three evening news broadcasts.

This bias by omission from the three networks was made possible by Salonpas on ABC, Aleve on CBS, and Ensure on NBC. Their information is linked.

Now, some have pointed to the U.S. Flag atop the White House roof as a workaround to the balcony display. And another section of U.S. flag code says that the President can make changes when he deems necessary, albeit through a proclamation which was not issued. Officials here would not say how this decision was made but defended it saying they’re not going to let anything distract from this event, which was centered around love and family, Bret.
