CBS Comedy 'The Neighborhood' Declares Global Warming 'Racist'

CBS’s new comedy, The Neighborhood, hit primetime TV only a couple weeks ago, but in those few short weeks we’ve already seen the typical liberal racism tropes--gentrification, white ignorance, and of course, biased cops. Just when we thought we’d seen it all, though, the show finally managed to pull something unique--uniquely dumb that is. What else is racist besides cops, white privileged people, and society in general? According to The Neighborhood, the answer is global warming.

The topic comes up during a conversation at the Butlers' barbershop when some of the customers are trying to prove Dave (Max Greenfield) is more knowledgeable than Calvin (Cedric the Entertainer).

Customer: Is global warming racist? Calvin says it is.

Calvin: Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, hold on. I said the concept of global warming is racist. I mean, think about it. Africa been hot all this time, and nobody cared. But soon as it get hot in Boston, ha, all of a sudden, we got global warming. You know why? It's because they're worried about Tom Brady.

(Others groaning, murmuring)

Calvin: I'm telling you, they're worried about him.

Dave: Well, you know, I-I did hear on NPR the other day that seven of the ten countries most affected by climate change are in sub-saharan Africa. And wealthier nations do cause most of the world's pollution.

Barber: So it is racist!

Calvin: I just said that.

Let’s put aside the debate of global warming and ponder how exactly a supposed “force of nature” without a mind of its own can discriminate. Or is it that the left is so desperate to spread its propaganda that racism is still rampant they are willing fabricate insane claims? I’d have to say its the latter--next it’s probably going to be "sexist unicorns".
