Censoring the News
News that is censored by media outlets because it doesn't fit their agenda.
On Monday, the Supreme Court heard oral arguments in the case of United States v. Texas - the case in which a coalition of 26 states, led by Texas, sued the Obama administration over the executive DACA/DAPA programs. On the leading domestic Spanish-language television network newscasts, the case was given existential treatment. Unfortunately, the coverage was just as one-sided as we would have expected.
Our nation has been rocked, yet again, by news of horrific crimes committed against the most vulnerable among us- by individuals who are in this country illegally. Sadly, our domestic Spanish-language networks have once again chosen to be derelict in their duty to fully inform the community; by either hiding the suspects' immigration status if not blacking out the story altogether.
Univision and Jorge Ramos maintain total silence in the face of the assault of journalist Michelle Fields, and it is shameful.
The journalists at NBC’s Today on Tuesday jumped on a comment made by John Kasich, highlighting “mockery” from Hillary Clinton after the Republican said that, decades ago, women “left their kitchen” to support him. Correspondent Peter Alexander warned that the governor is “potentially shooting himself in the foot, describing how he first won public office nearly 40 years ago.”
On Sunday night, pro-life activist Jill Stanek returned to her home in the Chicago suburbs to find a Target bag with a cinder block had been thrown through her windown. Taped to the cinder block was a note saying "STOP YOUR PRO-LIFE B---S---."
In an interview with NewsBusters (she used to blog for NB), Stanek agreed "we see growing intolerance on the Left for any socially conservative views. What they see and hear from us is condemnation, blame, 'slut-shaming,' et cetera." If an abortion advocate's home was vandalized, "not only would local press be all over it, so would national press."
After interviewing Democratic presidential front-runner Hilary Clinton on Monday, veteran NBC reporter Andrea Mitchell admitted the following day that she couldn’t ask everything she wanted to because she was afraid Clinton would abruptly halt the interview and leave.
Lois Lerner’s utter contempt for Republicans was on full display in a newly uncovered email in which she railed: “They called me back to testify on the IRS ‘scandal,’ and I too[k] the 5th again because they had been so evil and dishonest in my lawyer’s dealings with them.”
Bristol Palin was once in Lois Lerner’s sights, according to a newly released Senate report on the IRS executive’s e-mails. The daughter of liberal media hate object Sarah Palin got on Lerner's radar due to her work with Candie’s Foundation - a group that works to reduce teen pregnancy. In a newly released e-mail Lerner wrote: “Thoughts on the Bristol Palin issue? I’m asking because I don’t know whether to send to Exam as a referral.” So far Lerner’s interest has yet to be mentioned on the usually celebrity-obsessed Big Three (ABC, CBS, NBC) morning and evening shows.
On today’s session of The View, supposed “conservative voice” Nicolle Wallace again showed her true liberal colors.
In a discussion surrounding Cecil the Lion, co-host Raven-Symoné declared that “people for #BlackLivesMatter are outlash – are backlashing too, because they said ‘it’s a lion, but when we tried to start a movement, it didn’t get as much hoopla.’ And I don’t believe that’s true.”
The latest video exposing the trafficking of aborted babies by Planned Parenthood showed workers casually laughing over and probing at pieces of a “baby” and “another boy.”
The Center for Medical Progress (CMP) released a fourth investigative video July 30 showing Planned Parenthood executive, Dr. Savita Ginde, bartering over baby part pricing while admitting that the chances of providing intact organs are better if a woman “delivers before we get to see them.” The video showed Planned Parenthood workers laughing over “five-star” baby parts while trying not to “smush” them.
Atheist, Democrat, professor and social critic—that’s Camille Paglia. But in a recent interview with Salon, she had some choice words for the liberal media.
In a discussion about Jon Stewart and his influence on the media, Paglia declared, “At what point will liberals wake up to realize the stranglehold that they had on the media for so long?”
