Thanksgiving should be a time to put aside politics in favor of food, family, and the few things that still brings us together in commonality. For CW’s Supergirl, however, it’s another time to bring up politics for their leftist agenda. Sadly, the American holiday becomes yet another political talking point for the Girl of Steel.
Beauty is only skin deep. And to the Democratic Party and the liberal media, that appears to be as deep as they go for selecting their candidates. That much was demonstrated during Sunday’s This Week on ABC when fill-in host Martha Raddatz, who is supposed to be an objective journalist, flashed her partisan side by bragging to former New Jersey governor Chris Christie about how diverse the income class of newly elected Democrats was.
The “first wave” of the long caravan of Central American migrants first arrived at the U.S./Mexico border on Wednesday and as CBS Evening News reported that evening, they were “straining the resources” Tijuana. It wasn’t until Sunday’s Good Morning America that ABC acknowledged the caravan’s arrival. And in doing so, they downplayed the pressure it was putting on the city and its overall effect, while whining about it having too much influence during the 2018 midterm elections.
The mandatory machine recount in Florida wrapped up Thursday to the joy of Congressman Ron DeSantis as he unofficially became governor-elect. DeSantis won by 0.4 percent over Democratic Tallahassee Mayor Andrew Gillum. In spite of these facts, broadcast networks ABC and NBC, along with Spanish-language networks Telemundo and Univision, all refused to report DeSantis’s victory during their evening news programs.
Remember how Fox’s Empire claimed two weeks ago that people are thrown in prison for being "born black or brown?" Apparently, that wasn’t enough for this show. The latest episode now has the claim that black and brown people are constantly threatened with death by the police anytime they're called on the scene.
The first wave of 800 migrants from the much larger caravan arrived that the U.S./Mexico border crossing in Tijuana, Mexico Wednesday. According to reports, some of the migrants have been climbing the fortified border wall there to taunt Border Patrol agents, with some evening jumping into America illegally. Despite these facts, ABC and NBC ignored the caravan’s arrival with the latter suggesting the migrants were still a week away.
At 5:45 p.m. Eastern Time Wednesday, TMZ first broke the news that Democratic lawyer and 2020 presidential hopeful Michael Avenatti was arrested by Los Angeles police on domestic violence charges. Despite the fact that Avenatti granted them over 200 combined appearances on their networks, both CNN and MSNBC downplayed the charges. MSNBC brushed over it while CNN spent part of the time correcting TMZ and touting people who claimed Avenatti wouldn’t hurt anyone.
A major international incident has been boiling over in the Middle East during the last couple of weeks, yet American news viewers might not have heard about it. After years in a Pakistani prison, Asia Bibi, a Christian woman recently acquitted of charges of blasphemy against Islam, has so far been denied the ability to leave the country for her own safety, as the government fears civil unrest from extremists who have been protesting her acquittal. ABC, CBS and NBC have networks have failed to report the situation.
Dating back to Abigail Adams in the late 1700s (and early 1800s), America’s First Ladies have a long history of getting involved in their husbands’ administrations and touching on everything from policy to politics. But according to today’s liberal media, everything the Trump administration did was somehow unprecedented. Take Tuesday, for instance: First Lady Melania Trump got involved in the West Wing when she publicly called for the firing of Deputy National Security Advisor Mira Ricardel.
Over the last two days, Palestinian terrorist groups Hamas and the Islamic Palestinian jihad coordinated to launch hundreds of missiles and other projectiles at Israeli civilians to cause maximum carnage. According to The Times of Israel Tuesday, the massive rocket attack was responsible for 108 Israeli casualties. But the Palestinian friendly broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, and NBC) couldn’t be bothered to report the figure.
In a true act of anti-Semitism, the Hamas terrorist organization launched hundreds of Qassam rockets and other projectiles into southern Israel on Monday. While the Iron Dome defense system intercepted most of the weapons, a few managed to get through, striking homes and businesses. This attack, which many say was the largest since the 2014 war, didn’t get airtime on CBS Evening News and NBC Nightly News. Instead, they hyperventilated about dumb high school kids apparently giving the “Nazi salute”.
All eyes were on Florida’s contentious ballot recount in gubernatorial and U.S. Senate races as Democratically aligned elections supervisors in Broward and Palm Beach Counties were accused of elections shenanigans by GOP Senate candidate, Governor Rick Scott. Despite Florida court rulings against the supervisors for their illegal handling of ballots, the liberal broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, and NBC) downplayed the idea that anything was amiss.
