A new study of YouTube exposed what it called a “conspiracy ecosystem” of content creators that tried to connect prominent conservatives with a well-known racist and package them together as “far-right” or “reactionary” “extremists.”
With the charges of an alleged attempted sexual assault swirling around the Supreme Court nomination of Judge Brett Kavanaugh, the liberal media pounced on the obligatory comparison to the allegations of sexual misconduct against Justice Clarence Thomas by Anita Hill. On NBC Nightly News, correspondent Andrea Mitchell rewrote history and implied that Hill’s claims were credible, hoping the charges would sink the nomination this time around.
On Monday, Newsweek published an article warning the general public about an ACT for America conference honoring ICE department head Thomas Homan, because the Southern Poverty Law Center has described both as promoting a hate agenda. Whether from malice or sheer laziness, outlets like Newsweek a quick to regurgitate SPLC’s specious “hate group” claims.
Fact: The Washington Post is anti-Trump. Scenario: a former Trump administration official writes an op-ed in the Post that contains an explosive accusation. When the press confronts Trump with allegation, he says “you have a sufficient journalistic ability to make a conclusion (Except Jim Acosta -- you’re fake news).” Then the White House goes silent on the issue, refusing comment.
MRC Vice President of Business and Culture Dan Gainor recently appeared on the Fox Business Network’s After the Bell to discuss President Donald Trump’s concerns about conservative censorship online and to call for "fairness." Co-host David Asman asked what could be constituted as illegal censorship by big tech companies such as Facebook or Google on Aug. 29. Gainor replied, “I think some of the concerns that have come up for conservatives involve politics, and so if you start to limit people’s access to campaign information, that gets into territory of the Federal Election Commission.”
Liberal cable news outlets evidently had their own fairy tale ending in mind when former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen pleaded guilty to campaign finance violations: impeachment. On Wednesday, CNN and MSNBC reporters, anchors, and paid contributors used the word an absurd 222 times in 18 hours.
The Boston Globe’s call for a concerted media effort against the President came to fruition on Thursday as more than 350 papers across the country ran editorials decrying President Trump’s attacks on the news media. In light of new conservative Supreme Court nominations, the left has been in abject fear over any possible restriction on abortion, and has been lashing out. Their new target is the Hollywood production of Roe v. Wade. And although director Nick Loeb has remained adamant that things are going smoothly and that he has been maintaining the cast and production levels he had originally planned to have, the scathing “fake news” reports have been circling his project.
It doesn’t seem to bother actor Peter Fonda that his insane lefty views are giving him a less than stellar reputation. Hot on the heels of scandalizing Barron Trump in a series of Twitter posts, the unhinged actor has taken to social media to advocate for illicit democrat voting tactics.
The media are in a tizzy over the recent revelation that President Trump might revoke security clearances from former Intelligence officials with a penchant for going on television. During a concern-filled installment of CNN’s The Situation Room on Monday, host Wolf Blitzer anxiously posited that revoking the clearance of CNN national security analyst James Clapper would constitute a “potential national security threat.”
