During the Friday White House daily press briefing, CNN senior White House correspondent Jim Acosta berated EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt on behalf of planet Earth: “Why, then, is the arctic shelf melting? Why are the sea levels rising? Why are the hottest temperatures in the last decade essentially the hottest temperatures that we've seen on record?"

In Thursday’s White House daily briefing, Deputy press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders held her own in another pinch-hit appearance for Sean Spicer, tussling with ABC chief White House correspondent Jonathan Karl over the timeline for James Comey’s ouster from the FBI.

After remaining silent on the alleged March rape of a teenage girl and illegal immigrant in a D.C. suburb, journalists from ABC and CBS demanded the White House on Friday apologize, “retract” their comments on the case, and admit they “unfairly jump[ed] to conclusions” now that prosecutors have dropped the rape charges against the two teenage boys.

Another day, another liberal journalist scolding White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer. This time, ABC News's Jonathan Karl and CNN's Jim Acosta sparred with Spicer over wiretapping and press bias. Amidst the snow on Tuesday, White House press secretary Sean Spicer held a daily briefing and he tussled with CNN’s Jim Acosta after Acosta defended ObamaCare and wondered if President Trump is “okay with that there are going to be millions of people who aren’t going to have coverage.”

During Tuesday’s press conference, American Urban Radio Networks reporter April Ryan asked Spicer a series of hostile questions about President Trump’s attitudes towards blacks. Most dubiously, Ryan claimed Trump once said “white America built this country,” a statement she could not back up after Spicer questioned the legitimacy of this “quote” from the president.

Of course, Donald Trump visiting the African American History Museum in Washington D.C. is a problem for journalists. April Ryan on Tuesday wondered what was the point of the President’s visit, considering he thinks that “white America” built the country. ABC reporter Cecilia Vega also demanded to know if Trump will show forgiveness to illegals. 

White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer on Monday battled with CNN reporter Jim Acosta, demanding that journalists just “report it straight up” when it comes to the President. CNN is the outlet that Trump blasted as “fake news” and Spicer demanded, “Some days we do do the right thing. Some days we are successful.... When we're wrong, say we're wrong. But it's not always wrong and negative.”
