I have to admit it is breathtaking. There is one media figure after another simply making up American history from scratch. In particular the history of presidents speaking to the nation on the Fourth of July, not to mention the presence of tanks and other military hardware at national celebrations in Washington.
Wish that President Trump would not have inserted himself into Washington, D.C.’s Fourth of July celebrations, allowing A Capitol Fourth to remain on its own? Fine. But to declare the President’s plans “un-American” and a sign he wants to make America like North Korea or the former Soviet Union? That’s nonsense, folks. And as evidenced by those hot takes on Tuesday’s Hardball with MSNBC host Chris Matthews and his three panelists, we have yet another example of what Trump Derangement Syndrome can do to your well-being.
On Monday, NBC’s Today show turned to national security analyst and former Obama administration official Jeremy Bash to slam President Trump’s DMZ meeting with North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un as “dangerous.” Bash, who worked for a president that eagerly negotiated with Iran and Cuba, complained about Trump’s trip being “symbolism over substance.”
According to MSNBC, in 2019 America, democracy has failed. The President of the United States no longer represents the people that voted for him…or maybe he just doesn’t represent MSNBC? At one point on Monday night, the disgraced ex-Nightly News host wondered, “Will he ever show a sense of stewardship? Will he ever represent us on an overseas trip?”
So much for standing up for decency. On the Thursday installment of MSNBC’s Hardball, host Chris Matthews and anti-Trump Republican J.W. Verret smeared House Republicans who support the President as “disgusting” and “junior officers behind Kim Jong-un in his rallies” who risk being murdered if they stray from or upset the country’s communist dictator in any way.
As NewsBusters illustrated all day on Sunday, MSNBC’s nonsense was shooting out into the ether like water from a fire hose During the 6:00 p.m. Eastern hour, so-called experts offered hot takes such as “the Russians have clearly won” and “Mueller basically seem to abdicate or punt on” the obstruction portion of the investigation.
Many in the liberal media have blamed the recently alleged chemical attack in Syria on President Trump, citing his vow to pull American troops out of the region as having “emboldened” Syrian President Bashar-al Assad. Yet the same networks wildly praised the “amazing” and “potentially groundbreaking” 2013 deal in which President Obama entrusted Russian forces with the disposal of Assad’s chemical weapons arsenal.
On Monday, NBC’s Today show had the audacity to bring on former Obama administration official Jeremy Bash to scold President Trump for not taking more action against the brutal regime of Bashar al-Assad in Syria. No mention was made of Bash’s former boss, President Obama, refusing to take action in the conflict even after Assad crossed the “red line” of using chemical weapons against his own people.
Despite previously warning that President Trump’s tough stance on North Korea could lead to war, on Friday’s Today show, NBC National Security Analyst and former Obama administration official Jeremy Bash refused to credit Trump for agreeing to peace negotiations with Kim Jong-un. Instead, Bash claimed that the President had allowed himself to “boxed in” by the dictator, and had given up a “huge concession.”
On Friday’s broadcast of Deadline: White House, host Nicolle Wallace and MSNBC national security analyst Jeremy Bash were stoked to inflate the latest reporting from The New York Times “proving” that Trump’s campaign colluded with the Kremlin to “hack” last year’s presidential election.
MSNBC’s The 11th Hour host and serial liar Brian Williams debased himself once again, showing a tinge of anti-Americanism on Wednesday by declaring that the U.S. was “the only nation on Earth to have set off nuclear weapons in anger” and deemed itself to be “the arbiter of who else gets to have them on the planet.”
In the hours following President Trump’s speech to the United Nations Tuesday, the media frantically wondered if Trump wasn’t inviting nuclear war by condemning North Korea. Some networks like NBC, even sympathized with the American-hating regime of Iran while condemning our own president. MSNBC was no different, with anchor Brian Williams panicking on The Eleventh Hour September 20, that by Trump calling America “sovereign” he was sending a “dog whistle” to the UN that we didn’t need them anymore.
