In 24-hours, French President Emmanuel Macron went from postponing his widely hated carbon tax on fuel and utilities to completely abandoning it. It’s yet another loss for liberal climate change policies that oppress and strip money from hard-working people. Despite this momentous defeat, the liberal broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, and NBC) were dead silent when Macron went from suspending the measure on Tuesday and abandoning it on Wednesday.

When President Trump pulled the United States out of the Paris climate accord the liberal media had a global warming sized meltdown. But for three weeks now, the people of Paris have shown they’re opposed to policies born from the accord. They’ve been rioting to protest a carbon tax on fuel proposed by President Emmanuel Macron. During their Monday reports about the now deadly riots, ABC and NBC refused to mention the carbon tax, preferring to mislead viewers by calling it a simple fuel tax.

As Americans begun celebrating the holiday season, almost 300,000 French people took to the streets to protest a massive fuel tax hike proposed by President Emmanuel Macron to fight climate change. The protests turned violent Saturday as the now-rioters began digging up the streets of Paris and trying to construct barricades as police fought back with tear gas and water cannons. Despite this ongoing battle, ABC News had not reported one word about it on air. Not even on Saturday’s World News Tonight.

Talk about not letting something go. Minutes after the French President’s address to Congress on Wednesday, MSNBC sourly reminded Americans of the House’s efforts to rename french fries in 2003. After that, a clearly impressed Stephanie Ruhle gushed over the liberal Emmanuel Macron: “Isn't Macron clearly angling to be the world leader? President Trump has made it clear America first, America alone. And we're sort of all looking around saying who's the voice? Does it seem like he's the one that wants to be it?”

With French President Emmanuel Macron in Washington, D.C. for an official state visit, the liberal media were eager to pounce on any seemingly awkward “bromance” moments he and President Trump shared. And since Macron’s arrival, the two world leaders have exchanged seemingly countless handshakes and shoulder grabs (including Trump joking about brushing dandruff off his guest’s shoulder). Of course, former Republican Nicolle Wallace used her MSNBC show Deadline: White House to take a classless shot at the President’s marriage.

Here’s another example of something that would never have happened on CNNN when Barack Obama was living in the White House. On Tuesday afternoon, CNN Politics Reporter and Editor-at-Large Chris Cillizza spent several minutes picking apart a picture of President Donald Trump, First Lady Melania, French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte as they stood on a balcony during a meeting that was held at the White House.

CBS Evening News broadcasted live from Paris, France Monday ahead of a new international climate summit planned by French President Emmanuel Macron after President Trump announced he would pull the U.S. out of the Paris climate accord. And in a one-on-one interview with the French President, anchor Jeff Glor appeared to be fishing for him to say something disparaging of Trump. But Macron never took the bait.

New York Times’ journalist Adam Nossiter let some righteous pro-refugee anger seep into his Wednesday report from Paris, “France Ordered to Provide Bare Essentials for Migrants -- Policies Assailed As ‘Degrading.’” Nossiter certainly sounded more like an advocate than reporter in his lead: "After banking on neglect, hostility and mistreatment to discourage a steady trickle of migrants, the new French government was ordered by France’s highest administrative body to do better this week and at least provide water and toilets to the people."

CNN New Day on Monday continued their coverage of how Donald Trump and the leaders he meets give handshakes with each other. Not only is this coverage bizarre, it's irresponsible. New Day spent much of their Friday show consumed by the handshakes French President Emmanuel Macron and President Donald Trump shared. Now, days after the handshake took place, they still thought it important enough to devote a segment to it.

When not completely obsessed by Trump-Russia collusion allegations, CNN is focused like a laser on the truly monumental matters. An example was Friday's in depth analysis by their New Day panel on the details of a handshake between President Donald Trump and French President Emmanuel Macron following the Bastille Day parade in Paris.  Such importance was given to this discussion that hosts John Berman and Alisyn Camerota even brought in outside experts to break down the handshake for us.

During a Bastille Day press conference on Thursday with President Donald Trump and French President Emmanuel Macron, a male French reporter from BFM-TV tried to bait Macron into attacking Trump over his immigration policies and knock Trump down for previous statements about French terror attacks.

On Saturday, MSNBC AM Joy host Joy Reid took an entirely new approach to multiculturalism. In a segment on how the Democrats can find a candidate to defeat President Trump in 2020, she mused that perhaps America could just get French president Emmanuel Macron "to rule two countries."
