Instead of discouraging them, Valentine’s Day only encouraged the liberal feminist media to tweet about “reproductive rights” (code language for abortion, among other things) this year.
Esquire editor Sammy Nickalls began her Valentine’s Day tweet thread by telling men to gift women with “equal pay” and “basic human rights.” But she concluded that “reproductive rights” trumped all: “Your Valentine won't be able to stop beaming after you give her the ultimate gift: reproductive rights and access to birth control.”

Buzzfeed senior writer/illustrator Loryn Brantz had the same idea: “This Valentine's Day, give her what she really wants... *Reproductive rights*.”

Huffington Post video journalist Alex Berg even made her creed into a poem. “Roses are red, violets are blue... I'm pro-choice and you should be, too,” she tweeted.

Of course, none of them could top off abortion giant Planned Parenthood, which tweeted out a heart-shaped box full of contraceptives – instead of chocolates.
