Tonight’s edition of Thunderdome, more commonly known as CNN NewsNight with Abby Phillip, was spicier than usual as host and’or panelists clashed over such issues as the role of the president in setting monetary policy, and the rise of “right-wing” media as trust in corporate “Legacy Media” continues to crater.

CNN NewsNight with Abby Phillip, more colloquially known as “The Thunderdome”, continues to solidify itself as a petri dish of liberal derangement. Case in point: Thursday night’s broadcast kicked off with a debate on “weaponization” that culminated with liberal panelists (including, of course, host Abby Phillip) seeming to deny that institutional campus antisemitism exists.

The deportation of illegal alien and alleged MS-13 gangbanger Kilmar Abrego García continues to trigger the Acela Media to the point of derangement. Case in point: the panel at CNN NewsNight with Abby Phillip (A.K.A. the “Thunderdome”), who appear terminally opposed to the idea that the United States should enforce her own borders.

CNN’s Thunderdome, more commonly referred to as NewsNight with Abby Phillip, was particularly lively tonight. Given the issue array, there was bound to be fireworks. And sure enough, there were.

A very interesting exchange on last night’s CNN NewsNight With Abby Phillip (AKA The Thunderdome) proved that a worthy argument can be undermined by an ineffective spokesperson. In this case, a point on the everyday effects of tariffs on imported goods that ended with Scott Jennings standing tall in defense of American snack foods.

On CNN NewsNight, CNN contributor Ashley Allison, a former Obama and Biden aide, says "I believe" Jasmine Crockett's claim that when she called Republican Texas Governor Greg Abbott "Governor hot wheels," she wasn't alluding to the fact that he is a paraplegic who has been confined for decades to a wheelchair. 

In an interview that aired Sunday on NBC’s Dallas-Fort Worth-area affiliate KXAS and went viral on X Monday, Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) talked repeatedly about wanting to beat up and repeatedly “punch” Texas Republican Senator Ted Cruz. On CNN NewsNight with Abby Phillip, Democrat apparat and failed Biden OMB nominee Neera Tanden tried to conflate the leftist terror attacks against Tesla vehicles and facilities with the January 6th Capitol Riot. Conservative commentator Scott Jennings had none of it.

A discussion on Wednesday’s CNN NewsNight took a turn so outrageous that even CNN’s own fact-checkers would object. During the discussion, political commentator Ana Navarro accused President Trump of “making up stories about transgender mice” despite CNN’s own website saying otherwise.

CNN’s NewsNight with Abby Phillip, known colloquially as “The Thunderdome”, was particularly lively as conservative commentator Scott Jennings clowned multiple guests across multiple segments. Each own was progressively more brutal than the other.

When you as a liberal Democrat have lost CNN’s Abby Phillip and your protest gets LITERALLY laughed at live on CNN air, it may be a sign that your ability to influence coverage of the day’s events is waning. This was the reaction garnered by Congressional Democrats’ protest outside the headquarters of the dying United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
