On Tuesday, the “big three” (ABC, CBS, and NBC) morning shows all covered a New York Times report exposing how Hillary Clinton potentially violated federal law during her tenure as Secretary of State by conducting all government business with her personal email account, and when asked by the State Department to turn over the emails her staff “decided which ones to turn over." 

The Monday editions of ABC’s World News Tonight and NBC Nightly News aired news briefs on the announcement that Maryland Democratic Senator Barbara Mikulski will retire. They both failed to label Mikulski a liberal and heaped only effusive praise on her. On Monday, only NBC's Today mentioned the "important news" that the Supreme Court was set to hear a case that could potentially dismantle ObamaCare. In a news brief in the 7 a.m. ET hour, anchor Natalie Morales reported: "...the Supreme Court is gonna hear this week a challenge to President Obama's signature health care policy that could deal it a crippling blow."

It’s hard to imagine NBC’s Chuck Todd calling out a liberal  candidate in this way. On Sunday'sMeet the Press, Todd questioned how Dr. Ben Carson's Christian faith could "co-exist" with his trust in science.
