If you watch enough interviews of GOP vice presidential nominee Senator JD Vance (OH) with the Regime Media, you’ll spot a familiar pattern: journalists trying to trip Vance up on some Dem talking point only to have that talking point inverted against them. It just happened again with NBC’s Kristen Welker.

Sunday political affairs programming switched gears as the networks prepare to cover (or fawn over) this week’s Democratic National Convention in Chicago. With the spotlight on the Democratic ticket, there was nary a mention of the various and sundry scandals surrounding the Democratic vice presidential candidate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz.

To close out her interview of Senator JD Vance (R-OH), NBC’s Kristen Welker trotted out the tired election acceptance question asked of every Republican appearing on an Acela Media Sunday talk show, and especially of Trump vice presidential shortlisters.

NBC Meet the Depressed host Kristen Welker tried to put GOP vice presidential hopeful Gov. Doug Burgum (R-ND) in a corner with some of former President Donald Trump’s statements as expressed in the recent presidential primary. Far from achieving her gotcha attempt, she instead spewed some lies of her own.

Peter Alexander had a banner day while guest-hosting NBC’s Meet the Depressed. First, he recited a series of leftwing tropes on crime and immigration while deflecting criticism away from the Biden Administration’s handling of these pressing issues. Afterwards, he fretted that voters are insufficiently aware of President Biden’s achievements over these four years.

NBC News Chief White House Correspondent Peter Alexander is making the most of his guest stint at Meet the Depressed while host Kristen Welker is out on maternity leave. During his interview of Governor Kristi Noem (R-SD), Alexander pounced upon the opportunity to rehash Regime talking points related to crime and immigration.

Tom Cotton, host Peter Alexander interviewed House Democrat leader Hakeem Jeffries about the Trump trial, and a single question on the Hunter Biden trial. Jeffries claimed that it was OK for Joe Biden to proclaim "my son has done nothing wrong," which is laughably false.
