Fox News's Bill O'Reilly errantly claimed Wednesday that no Republicans were invited to that day's 50th anniversary commemoration of Martin Luther King Jr.'s March on Washington. Being one of the few class acts on television, O'Reilly owned up to his mistake Thursday issuing a formal on-air apology - and the liberal media partied like it was 1999.

Syndicated columnist Charles Krauthammer had some harsh words for the White House Thursday. Commenting on Fox News’s Special Report about the British government’s decision to not take part in a military action against Syria, Krauthammer said, “It is a complete humiliation for the Obama administration.”

Numerous commentators have noted that Wednesday's celebration of the 50th anniversary of Martin Luther King Jr.'s March on Washington seemed like a Democratic campaign rally. Adding to the criticism was Fox News's Howard Kurtz writing Thursday, "[A]t times it seemed to be a production of MSNBC":

With all eyes on Syria and what appears to be a looming United States strike, syndicated columnist Charles Krauthammer said Tuesday that it’s a “pointless exercise” unless we’re going all in to remove Bashar Assad. Appearing on Fox News’s Special Report Krauthammer said, “If we are going to have an attack, it should be aimed at that, and if it’s not, we shouldn't be doing anything."

Michael Reagan appeared on Fox & Friends to elaborate on his argument that the new film "Lee Daniels' The Butler" reinvents history to make Ronald Reagan a racist. Fox showed a clip of Jane Fonda's Nancy Reagan telling the butler that she would talk (backward) Ronnie into letting the butler be a guest at a White House state dinner instead of a servant.
