Presidential historian Doris Kearns Goodwin stopped by Friday’s CNN This Morning to discuss the results of Tuesday’s election and despite the final results still being unknown, compared them to victory in the Civil War, World War II, and surviving the Great Depression.

The ABC, CBS and NBC evening news shows ignored President Joe Biden admitting that he can’t promise to stop inflation, after telling Americans in September that “we’re going to get control of inflation.”

President Biden insisted in a Wednesday press conference he would make zero changes after Tuesday’s midterm elections failed to produce a Republican red wave and, during said presser, nine White House reporters took their shot at Biden with some engaging in silly softballs on the fate of his legacy, Donald Trump, affirmative action, and ridding the country of partisanship.

On Monday's CNN This Morning, co-host Don Lemon tried to undermine Republican complaints about the negative effects of bail reform in New York during an interview with (eventually victorious) Republican congressional candidate Adam Lawler.

CNN political commentator and co-host of ABC’s The View, Ana Navarro joined the former’s Wednesday election coverage to react to the results in her native Florida where Gov. Ron DeSantis easily won re-election by almost 20 points. For Navarro, the conventional wisdom about DeSantis is wrong because to get that massive win “he gamed the system” by creating “an unlevel playing field.”…

After spending hour after hour sticking to horse race results and CNN’s magic walls, the liberal network’s first piece of analysis reminded us of why they’re still a laughing stock of a network as a trio of lefties marveled at Democrats winning back governors mansions in some of the deepest blue states with “stellar” Wes Moore in Maryland and lesbian Maura Healey in Massachusetts.

On CNN This Morning, Don Lemon brands Republican arguments on a Pennsylvania ballot dispute "fishy," while calling Democrat John Fetterman's argument "very good."

CNN This Morning accuses Republican Sen. Ron Johnson of having injected race into the Wisconsin Senate campaign. In fact, Johnson was just responding to Democrat candidate Mandela Barnes having accused Wisconsinites of "concealed carry racism" that is "a little more scary" than racism in the Deep South. 

On Friday evening's The Situation Room, the new CNN was again looking like the old CNN as fill-in host Brianna Keilar invited Democratic Congressman Jim Clyburn (D-SC) to expand on recent comments comparing the U.S. to pre-Nazi Germany from the early 1930s.

An exceptionally repulsive feature of journalism these days is when media figures use tragedies to smear their political adversaries as dangerous threats. That’s clearly happening now, and it happened in 2011, when irresponsible journalists wrongly blamed the conservative Tea Party for inciting the shooting of Rep. Gabby Giffords and murder of six other citizens.

Of all the stories that could’ve led off Friday’s CNN This Morning, the one that the cast settled on was Oprah Winfrey endorsing John Fetterman in Pennsylvania’s Senate race with co-host Don Lemon desperately trying to suggest it all mattered.

On CNN This Morning, co-host Don Lemon was fine with Frank Luntz's suggestion that Republicans should stop talking about voter fraud. But Lemon pushed back on Luntz's suggestion that Democrats should stop talking about vote suppression. 

Former Secretary of State swung by Thursday’s CNN This Morning for a wide-ranging, but still softball interview that included co-host Don Lemon asking her to “Speak to us about” the threat to democracy around the world, including in America.

On Tuesday's CNN Tonight host Jake Tapper gave an in-kind contribution to the Democrat Party by kicking off his low-rated program insisting that crime is not skyrocketing across the country. Despite all available reputable evidence crime is indeed up. Tapper can't admit that because that would upset his friends in the Democrat Party.
