As the Los Angeles Times has reported: "Noncitizens, including those without legal status, will be allowed to vote" in San Franciso school board elections.

On his MSNBC show, 'The Beat,' Ari Melber plays a clip of Barack Obama at a rally in Nevada, saying: "Nevada, you could be the first state ever to elect a state legislature where the majority are women [wild applause.] Which, I'm pretty sure things will work better if you give women a chance to run things for a while."

On Ari Melber's MSNBC show The Beat Wednesdsay night, MSNBC contributor Jason Johnson imagines President Trump saying about the death of Jamal Khashoggi, "I don't care, it was a brown journalist." Johnson suggests  Trump would have reacted differently if Khashoggi were white, American, and worked for "a news outlet that the president was more happy with," presumably a reference to Fox News.

Appearing as a guest on Thursday's The Beat on MSNBC, race-obsessed New York Times columnist Michael Eric Dyson ranted against rapper Kanye West giving a pro-Donald Trump speech in the Oval Office, trashing his words as "white supremacy by ventriloquism."

On Ari Melber's MSNBC show, Washington Post columnist Jennifer Rubin, whom Melber twice described as a "conservative," said of Republican male senators commenting on the Kavanaugh confirmation: "they are so emotional, almost hysterical. I mean, I would make a joke about it, that they're behaving as if it's their time of the month, but this is very, very serious."

Appearing on MSNBC’s The Beat early Tuesday night, frequent MSNBC guest and Fordham University professor Christina Greer smeared the memory of late University of Iowa student Mollie Tibbetts as “a girl in Iowa” that “Fox News is talking about” instead of going all-in on the plea deal for Michael Cohen and the verdict in the Paul Manafort trial.

Hollywood director Rob Reiner, who supported both Bill and Hillary Clinton, is now very concerned about political untruths. Donald Trump’s that is. Reiner appeared on Monday's edition of MSNBC’s The Beat and decried Trump as someone who “constantly lies and is lying right to our face.”
