MSNBC's Melber: Trump 'Falsely' Claims Dems Give Illegals Voting Rights—Except It's True

Hey, Ari Melber: if you're going to San Francisco, be sure to wear an illegal-immigrant voting flower in your hair.

On his MSNBC show Thursday evening, Melber claimed that President Trump is "falsely claiming Democrats would give undocumented immigrants the right to vote."

Ari, dude: it has already happened! As The Los Angeles Times has reported:

"Noncitizens, including those without legal status, will be allowed to vote" in San Francisco school board elections.

Does anyone doubt that—given half a chance—Dems will extend that voting right to other races, right up to the presidential?

ARI MELBER: Trump's last-minute push here on immigration, falsely claiming Democrats would give undocumented immigrants the right to vote.

PRESIDENT TRUMP: Once they arrive, the Democrat party's vision is to offer them free health care, free welfare, free education, and even the right to vote.

In July, NewsBusters reported that Snopes.com tried to claim the conservative Daily Wire was somehow misleading people with the headline "San Francisco Begins Registering Illegal Aliens to Vote." That headline (and the article underneath it) was completely accurate, but the Snopesters tried to complain it implied that illegal immigrants could vote in all elections.
