In an episode titled “The Verdict,” Mitch (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) and Cam (Eric Stonestreet) argue about which one of them their friends would still want to hang out with if they got divorced. Because this is a totally normal conversation to have, apparently. Suddenly Cam swerves into one of the lamest of the lame political cheap shots at two pretty prominent GOP activists.

Blackish actually did a great job dealing with not only racial differences between whites and blacks, and the different kinds of churches they attend, but also just the drama and guilt that surrounds normal people and prevents them from getting to church on Sunday.

Hours after Vice President Joe Biden decided that he would not launch a presidential campaign, the major broadcast networks of ABC, CBS, and NBC largely welcomed on Wednesday night Biden’s decision as it stands to benefit Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton one day before her testimony to the House Select Committee on Benghazi.

What’s going on here? Good Morning America, somehow, aired a shockingly positive portrayal of Ben Carson on Wednesday, promoting the Republican as “amazing” and having a “resume like no other candidate.” This is quite a change from ABC’s previous attacks on Carson. 

On Wednesday’s View, liberal co-host Joy Behar admitted that she was “starting to warm up to Trump a little bit now” given the numerous liberal positions the Republican frontrunner has taken over the years. After Behar admitted Trump will “never replace my arousal feelings for Bernie” she touted how Trump “is not as bad as the rest” of the GOP field.

Thursday's CBS Evening News was the sole Big Three network morning and evening newscast to report on the death of Ken Taylor, the former Canadian ambassador to Iran who helped six Americans escape during the 1979 hostage crisis in Tehran. As of Friday morning, ABC's Good Morning America and World News Tonight, along with NBC's Today and NBC Nightly News, have yet to cover Taylor's death.
