The liberal broadcast networks seemed in good spirits Thursday evening following the final day of televised impeachment hearings. Media Wrongly Claim Trump Reversing 'Decades' of Policy on Israel
November 21st, 2019 8:17 PM
In the aftermath of Secretary of State Mike Pompeo's announcement that the Donald Trump administration was essentially reversing the Barack Obama policy of declaring Israeli settlements as illegal, most of the dominant media have inaccurately claimed that Trump has reversed "decades" or "40 years" of U.S. policy on the matter.
Day 4: Nearly All Americans Continue to Skip Dem Hearings
November 21st, 2019 3:40 PM
If the idea behind wall-to-wall broadcast and cable news coverage of the Democrats’ impeachment hearings was to shift public opinion, then it’s not looking good for the Democrats. According to Nielsen, the numbers have steadily edged lower throughout these hearings: 13.1 million for Day 1; 12.7 million for Day 2; 12.2 million for Day 3; and now 11.4 million for Day 4. That’s an erosion of about…

Nets Celebrate Amb. Sondland as ‘the Most Pivotal Witness Yet’
November 20th, 2019 9:31 PM
Despite how they were dismissive of his truthfulness prior to Wednesday and the fact that he could not directly implicate President Trump in a quid pro quo scheme with Ukraine, ABC, CBS, and NBC heralded the public testimony of E.U. Ambassador Gordon Sondland as a “bombshell” from “the most pivotal witness yet.”

November 20th, 2019 9:22 PM
On Wednesday, former Baltimore Mayor Catherine Pugh (D) was indicted on 11 counts of fraud and tax invasion concerning her Healthy Holly book series that had forced her out of office on May 2. If convicted on all counts, she could face 175 years in jail. However, just minutes later, those same networks admitted that Sondland never heard any such thing directly from the President.

Nets Bury Racial Blunder By Buttigieg, Instead Cheer ‘Exciting' Dem
November 19th, 2019 12:49 PM
All three networks on Monday hailed the “surging,” “exciting” Pete Buttigieg’s “major moment” in Iowa polls. But they avoided a racial blunder by the 2020 Democratic candidate, as well as the fact that his polling with African Americans in the critical primary state of South Carolina is at an astonishing 0 percent. The Buttigieg campaign attempted to tout the Mayor’s Douglass Plan (as in…

November 19th, 2019 9:08 AM
Just like NBC did the night before, ABC continued conjecturing about President Trump’s health Tuesday morning, based off of an undisclosed visit to Walter Reed hospital over the weekend. Even though the White House doctor shut down rumors that Trump had a heart attack, the network dismissed that information to speculate that the White House was actually lying about Trump’s health.
Yawn: 95% of U.S. Adults Skipped Friday’s Impeachment Hearings
November 18th, 2019 12:48 PM

Friday’s second day of live, wall-to-wall coverage drew an average of 12.7 million viewers on ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, MSNBC and the Fox News Channel combined. With an estimated 254 million persons over the age of 18 in the U.S., that suggests 95 percent (about 241.3 million) were doing something else on Friday.
