Clarence Thomas On If He Reads the NY Times Every Day: 'Oh God No

Supreme Court justice Clarence Thomas had an unkind comment for the New York Times Thursday. When asked by an attendee of his Roy R. and Virginia F. Ray Lecture at the University of Kentucky whether he reads the Gray Lady every day, the jurist marvelously replied, "Oh, God, no!"  As reported by the Kentucky Herald-Leader:

Bashir: Conservatives Cool With Slaves Building White House But Can't

The odious Martin Bashir is at it again.  On his MSNBC show today, Bashir suggested that conservatives, racists that they are, were happy to have slaves help build the White House, but can't accept a black president living there. Bashir's slanderous suggestion came at the conclusion of a segment on President Obama's ill-considered attack on the Supreme Court earlier this week.  View the…

Rasmussen Column: And They Wonder Why Voters Are Angry

As Mitt Romney assumes the role of presumptive Republican nominee, polls suggest a competitive general election matchup between the former Massachusetts governor and President Obama. Typically, both candidates poll in the mid-40s, while 10 to 12 percent remain uncommitted to either side. Among these uncommitted voters, Rasmussen Reports polling shows that just 22 percent approve of the way…

CNN Walks It Back: Oops, Zimmerman Didn't Say 'Coon,' He Said It Was

NBC isn’t the only network slinking away from overcooking the case against George Zimmerman’s alleged racism. On the March 21 edition of Anderson Cooper 360, a CNN audio expert enhanced Zimmerman's 9-1-1 call and suggested he had used a racial slur, "f--ing coon," as he was following Trayvon Martin. Reporter Gary Tuchman asserted: "It certainly sounds like that word to me." Two weeks later…

ABC’s DC Drama ‘Scandal’ Rabidly Anti-Conservative, Celebrates G

ABC’s new drama set in Washington D.C. does nothing to encourage bi-partisanship. “Scandal” is another liberal product of the network, and is a blatant platform for lefty views and policies. Tyrrell Column: Romney Is Coming On Strong

There are some campaign advisers who would counsel former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney to jog on the campaign trail tirelessly, probably in short pants and with a catchy T-shirt emblazoned with some memorable phrase, say, "Fred Fna Ate Here," a la Al Gore and Bill Clinton. Jimmy Carter started the presidential candidates' jogging craze, and since him there have been a horde of presidential…

Conservative Legal Scholar Confronts CNN's Toobin for Defending Obama

The fact that CNN's senior legal analyst squared off against a conservative legal scholar should be telling for the network's liberal bias. On Thursday night's Anderson Cooper 360, CNN's Jeffrey Toobin was confronted by Jay Sekulow of the American Center for Law and Justice over his defense of President Obama's comments on a pending Supreme Court case. "Jeff, do you know another President of…

What Happens in Vegas, Stays in Vegas: NBC's Today Skips Govt. Waste i

The Today show on Friday continued to ignore an embarrassing example of government waste during Barack Obama's tenure. ABC, CBS and NBC's Nightly News, however, have all highlighted the extravagant $823,000 spent for a General Services Administration conference in Las Vegas in 2010. On Friday's Good Morning America, Jake Tapper pointed out that "one year after President Obama" admonished…
