CNN's Cuomo and Steve King Debate Guns, Gays & PC in Orlando Terror

As Iowa Republican Rep. Steve King appeared as a guest on Tuesday's New Day to discuss the Orlando night club terror attack, CNN host Chris Cuomo pressed him over the issue of gun laws and also over whether Republicans should be making a point of specifying that it was a gay club that was targeted when speaking of the attack. The two also got into a debate over whether political correctness…

ABC’s ‘Uncle Buck’ Pays Homage to Obama in Series Premiere

Tuesday night marked the premiere of ABC’s new comedy Uncle Buck. Pretty much the only even remotely interesting part of this very non-funny comedy is that Uncle Buck, instead of being a delinquent ne'er-do-well white guy (John Candy) like in the original movie, is instead a ne'er-do-well black guy (Mike Epps). Until the 55 minute mark of the episode, when something truly awful that I did not…

NYT Columnist Complains About Clinton Plan to Tax ‘Only $1.1 Trillion’

For one New York Times columnist, democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton hasn’t been revolutionary enough in her economic policies. Times columnist Eduardo Porter complained that Clinton’s economic plan, which included “only $1.1 trillion” in new tax hikes and $275 million in infrastructure spending, was just a “careful collection of tweaks and prods.”

Stephen Colbert Uses a Swastika to ‘Figure Out’ Nazi Donald Trump

Stephen Colbert stooped to a new low on Tuesday night when he connected Donald Trump to Naziism and used a swastika to represent the businessman’s beliefs. In a so-called comedy bit, the Late Show host used a chalkboard to mock Trump’s attacks on Barack Obama. As he began to draw the Nazi insignia, Colbert yelled, “Trump is saying Obama is not smart because he won't say radical Islam.”

On Wednesday’s The View, the panel discussed President Obama’s speech yesterday where he slammed those in the GOP “yapping” about him not using the phrase “radical Islam” when talking about terrorist attacks. Co-hosts Whoopi Goldberg and Raven-Symone defended the President’s position, while Goldberg claimed, falsely, that Obama “used to say” these words but they were never “good enough” for his…

CNN's Costello Wonders If Orlando Is 'Turning Point' For Gun Control

Carol Costello was true to her liberal form on Wednesday's CNN Newsroom with regard to her pro-gun control slant. Costello tossed softball questions at Shannon Watts of Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America; and, as she's done in the past, gave a platform to call for new firearms regulations in the wake of the terrorist attack in Orlando. She also wondered, "Is this the turning point?"

Appearing on Wednesday’s CBS This Morning, New Yorker writer Malcolm Gladwell warned the hosts that Hillary Clinton would be the victim of sexist attacks if she became president: “...if you look at previous examples of women who become the first head of state in their country, the examples are really a little bit sobering. It's not easy to be the first woman to take that. And so, if Hillary wins…
