Since the 2016 presidential election, the media have doubled down in their efforts to undermine president-elect Donald Trump. On Fox Business Network’s Lou Dobbs Tonight on November 17, MRC Vice President for Business and Culture Dan Gainor slammed the media for trying to “take down” Trump’s nominees in order to “defeat his administration.” 

The latest liberal media freak-out about the Trump transition commenced on Friday morning upon the announcement of Republican Senator Jeff Sessions (Ala.) as President-elect Donald Trump’s pick for Attorney General and were led by CNN’s Carol Costello lashing out at the “controversial” Sessions who should “concern” Americans and linked him to hate crimes since the election.

The network morning shows on Friday pounced on the announcement that Michael Flynn is Donald Trump’s choice for National Security Adviser, immediately branding the Army Lieutenant General  “divisive,” “controversial,” fiery” and known for his “infamous” appearance at the 2016 Republican National Convention.
