CBS Laments Climate Change Skeptics: ‘Why Is This a Debate at All?’

On Wednesday, the hosts of CBS This Morning welcomed climate scientist Katharine Hayhoe on the program to offer tips on how to best sell the climate change agenda. Much of the discussion focused on ways to convince “doubters,” prompting co-host Bianna Golodryga to bemoan: “But why does it have to become political, I guess is the question that I’m asking, and why is this a debate at all?”

CBS Hypes Cohen, 'Extraordinary Revelations' of 'Criminal Conspiracy'

CBS bowed out of live coverage of the Cohen hearing on Wednesday with hot talk. Anchor Norah O'Donnell summarized the "extraordinary" hearing this way: it "might be the most damaging testimony for a president since former White House counsel John Dean testified against President Nixon during the Watergate hearings." The words "criminal conspiracy" kept being repeated for emphasis.

NYT Shock Op-ed 'I Didn’t Kill My Baby' Tries to Blur Abortion Lines

The New York Times ran an op-ed on February 26 with the provocative title “I Didn’t Kill My Baby.” However, the reader quickly learns that, although the contention in the title is correct, there’s no reason for it to be asserted other than to muddy the waters between abortion and an infant dying of natural causes, which are two completely different things morally, ethically, and legally.

Media Forget About Dead Babies, Focus on Trump, ‘Political Framing’

The good thing about the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act is that it is very straightforward, there’s little wiggle room for the media’s typical machinations and euphemisms when it comes to abortion. The media has to be honest about what the bill is and what it does, which is why they like to take the focus off it and make the story about President Trump and Republicans.

ABC's Democrat Stephanopoulos Touts Cohen Having the 'Ring of Truth'

For Republicans, today's House Democrat-led hearing with former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen looks like a Democratic public-relations campaign...right down to the Democrats reviewing the testimony at the "objective" networks. ABC's George Stephanopoulos, who took his own turns testifying for a lying president with personal financial scandals during his time in the Clinton White House, came running…

Donny Deutsch: Trump Has 'Decided We Don't Have A Free Press'

MSNBC's Wednesday edition of Morning Joe spent its time ping-ponging back and forth from President Trump's summit with North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un and Trump's former attorney Michael Cohen's testimony before the House Oversight Committee. Trump's tweets on Cohen from Hanoi gave the morning show a chance to combine the two and repeat one of their favorite lines: that Trump is hostile to the…

ABC Touts ‘Epic’ Hearing, Likens Cohen to Watergate’s John Dean

On ABC’s Good Morning America, co-host George Stephanopoulos framed today’s congressional testimony from ex-Trump lawyer Michael Cohen not as a case of an admitted liar potentially seeking to avoid the consequences of his crimes, but as an “epic,” “historic,” “Watergate”-style showdown, with Cohen playing the role of Nixon White House whistleblower John Dean.

Kermit the Frog Mocks Trump, Fox in Pro-Green New Deal Song on Colbert

CBS offered a socialist Muppet-music opening to the Late Show with Stephen Colbert on February 20. Kermit the Frog sang a version of his trademark tune "It's Not Easy Being Green," but this time it was touting that "the Green Deal is a good idea" and mocked the idea that it was a "government takeover." Kermit sang between clips of President Trump and Fox News personalities.

PayPal CEO: ‘SPLC Helps Us’ Figure Out Who to Ban

Financial processors who ban websites and businesses based on political ideology practice another, more insidious form of social media censorship. If blog or account depends on donations or sales of merchandise, it is vulnerable to being starved of revenue. Unfortunately, the processors aren’t necessarily reliably informed when they make such decisions.
