Looks like the sore losers at CNN are looking for reasons to get sued again. After former Covington Catholic student Nick Sandmann roasted the media last night at the Republican Convention, CNN analyst Joe Lockhart couldn’t help himself and had to send out a bitter tweet attacking Sandmann.

The conventions have one long-standing trend in media bias: the description of tone. Every Republican convention is dark and divisive and angry and ultraconservative. Every Democrat convention is soothingly centrist and stuffed with "inspirational" speeches. 

Between Senator Tim Scott’s well-received Monday night speech, stories on both nights from everyday Americans, and remarks from rising stars, Tuesday’s RNC festivities resulted in a no good, awful, very bad day for the broadcast networks. Night two of the Republican National Convention endured frequent interruptions from far-left host Rachel Maddow. Maddow offered her own version of "fact checks," expressing annoyance at even having to air the GOP convention.

The first night of the Republican National Convention provided viewers with many inspirational moments. Perhaps the most memorable one came from Senator Tim Scott of South Carolina, the only Black Republican in the U.S. Senate, who provided the closing speech.

Last week during the Democratic National Convention, journalists and media outlets did their best to bury the 1993 sexual assault accusations against Joe Biden. As noted in a Media Research Center study, CNN and MSNBC basically turned into DNC TV during the conventions, playing the Democratic feed with no commentary or analysis.
