CNN’s Paul Begala: Dick Cheney Is a ‘Political Sociopath’
During an appearance on CNN’s Anderson Cooper 360 on Tuesday night, CNN’s Paul Begala blasted Vice President Dick Cheney for blaming President Obama for the rise of ISIS. The Democratic strategist argued that Cheney’s comments were “a portrait of a political sociopath...I actually went and looked up on the Mayo Clinic website the definition of that disorder and it fits Mr. Cheney to a T,…

CNN's Lemon Wonders If Trump Used 'Dog Whistle' With 'Racist Intent'
On Tuesday's CNN Tonight, Don Lemon wondered if some of Donald Trump's rhetoric had thinly-veiled bigotry in it. Trump indicated that the high turnout at his recent campaign rallies was "a great tribute to what we're all saying. We want to make our country great again." Lemon misquoted his guest in his follow-up question: "You said...it was a tribute to people wanting to take their country back…

George Stephanopoulos Hammers Trump: Are You a Real Conservative?
Good Morning America's George Stephanopoulos on Wednesday hammered Donald Trump over whether he was a real conservative. Citing attacks from Jeb Bush, the co-host demanded, "... You heard Jeb Bush yesterday. 'You're not a conservative. You're more Democrat than Republican.' This is all personal. Is he drawing blood?"

Slate Blames Manmade Warming for Recently Rising Seas
The seas are rising and Sandy-like storm surges are going to be a “new normal,” according to Slate.
Slate’s Bad Astronomy writer Phil Plait highlighted a NASA study that showed a rise in sea levels since 1992 in his Aug. 31 article. Repeated the fears of many climate alarmists, he blamed that rise on global warming and warned, “[w]e’ll see beaches disappear, coastlines changed.”

NYT Front: Obama Champions Workers' Rights Eroded by Conservative Rule
The front page of Tuesday's New York Times featured labor reporter Noam Scheiber celebrating Obama as (finally!) the champion of workers' rights, belatedly beating back the retrograde efforts by Ronald Reagan and free-market conservatives to "roll them back," with Schreiber portraying all of the administration's new regulatory burdens on emerging jobs as wholly positive developments. The online…

NBC Hypes Poll Showing Liberal Catholics Say Abortion ‘Not a Sin’
Ahead of Pope Francis’s upcoming visit to the U.S., Wednesday’s NBC Today touted a new Pew Research Center poll finding that a minority of Catholics do not believe abortion to be a sin. Willie Geist used the Pope adjusting the process of forgiving abortion as a segue: “...the Vatican announced priests may now forgive women who’ve had abortions....The Pope isn't alone when it comes to a bit of a…

Fox News Anchor Sues After Hasbro Names Toy Hamster After Her
Well this certainly falls into the weird news section. Longtime Fox News anchor Harris Faulkner is suing Hasbro toy company for making and selling a toy hamster with her exact name -- after Hasbro was warned earlier this year to discontinue selling it.
Six-time Emmy Award winning journalist Harris Faulkner (Outnumbered, Fox Report Weekend) wasn’t too happy to find out her unique name was used…

Carville Smears Trey Gowdy As Merely a ‘Tool of the Koch Brothers'
James Carville appeared on MSNBC’s All in with Chris Hayes on Tuesday to repeatedly deflect criticism away from Hillary Clinton after the latest batch of e-mails from her tenure as Secretary of State were released. Not only did Carville call Clinton’s use of a private e-mail server just another one of a long list of “faux Clinton scandals,” he dismissed the investigation into the Benghazi…

Harold Ford's Hillary Defense: Maybe Dishonest But Not 'Unpatriotic'
How bad is it getting for Hillary when the best her defenders can come up with is Harold Ford Jr.'s formulation: okay, so the words most associated with her are "liar," "dishonest" and "untrustworthy" but, hey!—she's not "unpatriotic."
On today's Morning Joe, after Ford resorted on Hillary's behalf to the last refuge of scoundrels, Joe Scarborough hit him with a killer question: does Ford think…

Faith-Based Movie ‘War Room’ Tops Box Office Charts
It seems like Hollywood these days is only capable of pumping out movies with violence, gore, sex, and drugs, or zillion-dollar comic book effects. So how is it that a movie with none of those things managed to come out second in box office ratings? Did we mention the movie centers around prayer? Perhaps prayer really is that powerful.
Filmmaking brothers Stephen and Alex Kendrick have shocked…

It seems as though the “Chi-coms” have found a new right “enumerated in the penumbras” of human history.
The right to snowboard.

Redford Takes Potshot at W, But Reveals Truth Not Rather’s Motivation
A Tuesday USA Today preview of the movie Truth, which presumes Dan Rather’s 2004 “Memogate” hit piece against President George W Bash was accurate, conveyed the hostility of actor Robert Redford, who plays Rather, toward Bush. But Redford also undermined the “truth” premise by relaying that “loyalty” was Rather’s main motivation in defending his flawed story.

Nothing to See, Move Along: ABC Waves Goodbye to New Hillary E-Mails
Deeming it not pertinent for their viewership, ABC’s World News Tonight refused to cover on Tuesday night the latest round of Hillary Clinton’s e-mails released by the State Department despite having briefly reported on them on Monday hours before they were actually released. Joining ABC in their zero coverage of Clinton was Spanish-language network Telemundo (which also failed to mention the…
