Liberal media darling and “creepy porn lawyer” Michael Avenatti was sentenced on Thursday afternoon to two and a half years in prison for attempting to extort Nike, ending the first of three trials in which Avenatti could spend much of his remaining years behind bars. But unfortunately, MSNBC refused to cover it on any of the nine shows since Judge Paul Gardephe handed down his sentence.

After the past couple of weeks of CNN intensively pushing for more gun control, CNN anchors this week picked up on Senator Chris Murphy's attack on his Republican colleagues via Twitter, and host Ana Cabrera even promised to continue the lobbying until the government takes action on gun control.

CNN Newsroom's Victor Blackwell welcomed Paxton Smith, the Texas high schooler who, according to CNN's chyron, went "off script, on a mission" during her valedictorian address to blast Texas' heartbeat bill. Blackwell had nothing but praise for the allegedly non-political Smith and tried to turn her into the latest high school political celebrity.

On Monday afternoon, CNN looked down their noses at the public, reporting on a poll that found most of the American people are are way too overconfident at spotting fake news. As usual, they offered no humility about all the fake news that they spread about the Trump campaign colluding with the Russians and other pseudo-scandals. Instead, they mocked people who watch OAN and Fox News.

On Friday's CNN Newsroom, co-anchor Alisyn Camerota and weekend host Fareed Zakaria excoriated Fox News, with Camerota deriding them as "trying to pass themselves off as news," and Zakaria smearing the news channel as a "propaganda arm of the most extreme wing of the Republican party."

CNN political analyst appeared to cause discomfort to the Newsroom anchors when he talked about problems with the Wuhan lab and Dr. Anthony Fauci's role in it.

On CNN's New Day Saturday, the show ran a segment pushing a "war on voting" mantra against Republicans which even included a liberal guest accusing the GOP of pushing a "pandemic of apartheid" in new voting reforms.
